My skin feels a tad firmer using only in key areas, a little goes a long way. I think it's worth the investment specially for dry aging skin types. Also love that this formula is Paraben, Phthalate, Sulfate and Cruelty Free!

I looked up the cost of this and I can’t justify to other people, with only one week’s use, spending that high of an amount on this, but what I will do is buy a jar for myself and see how I do after that one. I do really like this cream. I think it may become one that is in my rotation, but I also choose to spend on my skincare if well liked. I do understand that is not everyone’s privilege or choice, so this may not be the one for you. If cost was not an object, I’d give this a 4/5 and will update when I complete a bigger jar.

Dense cream that leaves skill all over

I was surprised at the consistency of the cream, rather dense and thick, but it penetrates the skin quickly leaving it smooth all over. I do not have major issues with my skin, but my chin and nose are sometimes drier than the rest of my face. This cream within seconds would make my face evenly smooth and soft all over. This is something I have never experienced with other creams. Other creams would soften the drier areas of my face, but it would not be as soft as the skin on my cheeks. I was a bit concerned about wearing it while out because of its thicker consistency in comparison to other creams, but it held up well in the NY heat. I will more than likely order a full-size jar but am hesitant to after getting just five days out of the .34 oz jar I was sent.The first thing I noticed before applying it was that it had a very light scent. A highly fragranced skincare product is often a deal-breaker, so this was nice. The scent remains light and pleasant throughout the day. My favorite thing about the cream is how it made my face feel from the very first application. Yes, it was soft to the touch. But the good feeling came from its wear. It felt as though every cell in my face had been liberated from gravitational pull. One reviewer said that it was heavy or greasy, but I did not find this to be the case even with my generous application. In fact, my skin felt less oily than usual the morning after the first use. It also provided my skin with enough moisture to protect it from the blustery, 20 degree New Jersey mornings. I preferred using it in place of my usual eye cream because it kept the delicate areas from getting crepey from the cold weather. Makeup went on smoothly atop this cream. The one thing that set this product apart from others is the noticeable change in my skin's texture. It was most visible from my cheekbones and extending a bit below. I had not seen that skin texture in so many years that I forgot what it looked like on me. I should note that I exfoliate almost daily and use other products to ensure what I am presenting to the world is a fresh layer. I cannot place what the difference was and will have to add to this review once I have used it long enough to realize its true potential. I do believe that this one is a winner.

Improves Skin Texture

I have not been this excited about a beauty product in awhile. This face cream is unlike anything I have ever used before and has made my skin feel amazing. The benefits I experienced to the texture of my skin by using this product twice a day (AM & PM) have been awesome. This product advertises using the the Reviscentalis plant as the ingredient that makes it so special. This plant has amazing properties that allows it to be able to go without water for years but allows it to be able to turn back into a lush green plant only after 12 hours of giving it water. This product has the consistency and feel of a balm minus the waxy, greasy feeling that usually accompanies a balm. Now that I've completed 2 weeks and am at the bottom of my sample, I can say I am super impressed and definitely have this on my Christmas list. I also must say this product felt extreme soothing and mild to me. I have been struggling quite a bit over the last year to increase my tretinoin strength from .05% to 0.1%. I have a lot of peeling and dryness which has been helped dramatically with the use of this cream. The only issue I had with cream is some pilling with use of SPF over top it. I noticed if increased the time in between applying these products, it helped stop that issue. I am recommending this to anyone who is struggling with texture and moisture issues. It's a game changer for sure!

Upon opening the jar, you are greeted by such a fine light fragrance that is not overwhelming, but delights the olfactory senses. Visually you can see that this is a heavier cream and when putting a finger tip in it almost has a body butter like consistency. Removing just a bit, warming it up between my fingertips it transformed from the heavier cream like consistency at first to a balm, and then eventually to a thicker oil. I did wait a little bit before applying my foundation to give it time to absorb. The surface of my face felt like a pillow, and once the absorption had taken place, the foundation and other makeup products applied as if there was a primer underneath. As previously stated, I use this at night as well and take about 1.5 times the amount I do during the day on my fingertips and apply over my entire face to wake up with a healthy glow. It seems to have actually helped to make lines underneath my eyes less discernible because of this plumping effect. Only a little dab will do ya, and so this cream, although expensive will last a very long time. I recommend it to all skin types, except those with fully oily complexions, and highly recommend it to those who live in drier climates.

It is a pleasant smell to me anyway and doesn't bother me at all.I have not noticed any firming of my skin, but I do notice that there is a bit of a blurred effect where I have deeper lines and pores. I have attached a photo of me with the cream on and no makeup or other enhancement or filter. The photo was taken in front of a window for natural lighting. I feel completely comfortable out and about with no other makeup, though I do enjoy a bit of concealer for my dark under eye circles.Though I would recommend this to a friend, it would have to be a fairly affluent friend because of the price point. However it is important to note that a little bit does go a long way, and one package will last a very long time! Also, the packaging is so lovely and weighted. It also comes with a scoop to help dispense the product. I would have given the cream five stars, but I had to deduct one star because the price point is quite high.
