We have only had the lone up for a week or so and it is great. It is actually bigger than expected and can carry a huge amount of washing. Thanks, however to our landscaper who had concreted the bottom 300mm+ into the ground, but still allowed for a 1.0m clearance above the deck. We recommend anyone buying such a large clothesline do this so that the the mounts can handle heavy towels etc at the end of the line. Perfect as the reach to the line is perfect for someone with a height of 160-180cm. A great, semi compact line for families.

Has been very good so far. We installed the austral 39 when we realised the hills hoist was taking up a lot of space in our small back yard. The kids didn’t have enough room to jump properly on the trampoline so we installed this clothesline in a 1m wide gap between the shed and the kids cubby. It was easy enough to install and seems fairly robust. The reason I was drawn to it initially was the competitive price. I was just a bonus that it was also from an Australian family run business.The communication from them was excellent and they were very happy to answer questions I had about the product.

The best clothesline we've purchased ever! Love the fact that I never run out of line space with the one we purchased. I can hang my king size sheet fully along one line and still have space to hang two pillowcases! I've never been able to do that before with our other clotheslines we've used. Don't be fooled by the Australian Made badge as the old one removed was twice as heavy and much much sturdier.
Bought this for a tight space. Was able to reduce size (width) of this and the inground base to suit my needs. (Used Bastion 20kg Post Mix Concrete, so easy! The hardest part was digging the holes). I love this clothesline. It fits heaps of clothes, although the cord is very close together so clothes would dry more efficiently if every second line is used (if you don't have too much laundry). It comes with grey clothesline cord so I bought a Hills brand Monument black clothesline cord. Camouflages perfectly with my black fence.
Super satisfied with the quality and how super easy it was to put together and mount to the ground on my own. Love it!! It only took 10yrs of using a rope as a makeshift clothesline before we were able to finally get a proper clothesline. Always put it off deciding we could get it later as other more important things needed attention. Carport blew down in recent storms so nowhere to hang my rope. First job: call Insurance company. Second job: buy a clothesline. The process was quick and easy to sort out with regards to ordering online and arranging instalment. Wayne (installer) did a fabulous job, on time, polite & friendly.

Happy with the first Unit Line, which lasted 7 years, I bought the same unit again. As I did with our first Unit Line, I shortened the front bar to fit the available width of the wall space.The old unit was rusty and all the nuts, bolts and screws, being only nickel plated, had long since completely corroded in the coastal conditions where we live. After installing the cord I had to completely clean it with eucalyptus cleaner to remove the gum, to avoid it soiling clothes hung on the line.We regularly clean our clothesline to keep it in good condition, so with the exception of the above recommendations, we are very happy with our Australian made Unit Line.Thank you for noting my above comments.
We are so happy with this clothesline. Nice and compact (we have installed on a balcony) yet still fits 2 average sized loads on it (we are a family of four). We found installation a little tricky, mainly due to the surface we were attaching it to and our relative lack of DIY experience/handiness, however we got there in the end and it is working as expected. The only thing to be aware of is that due to it being compact, the lines are quite close together (so more can fit in the space) which can make it a little fiddly to hang and peg some items. For me this is absolutely negated by the overall convenience of the product.It was also shipped and delivered very quickly.Would definitely recommend.
