Easy to install, plenty of line, dries clothes quickly, hopefully will withstand the strong winds that has destroyed last 3x clothes lines :). Don't like the plastic winder.

Very happy, delivery in 3 days was amazing. Love the spacing of lines, much more user friendly than “Hills”. Would suggest option of good quality coated wire instead of just wire which collects dirt/dust n currently ash from fires and is not as easily cleaned as coated wire, also much easier to install (says Hubby).

Item was delivered in reasonable time. The assembly instructions were precise and easy to follow. I assembled the hoist with very little difficulty with some assistance from my partner. After allowing two days for the concrete base to harden, she had the hoist in full operation, I mean "full".Very happy with purchase, AND Australian made.

this clothes line replaced our old existing line after assembly the line was used and seemed to be working ok really to early for a full on review

Love it. Everything fits and dries in half the time with the wide spaced lines and plenty of space for super king linen.
I love my new clothes line. The service from Lifestyle was fantastic and my new line arrived quickly and easily. It was quite easy to assemble too. Winding it up is so easy and the clothes dry so much quicker. The Hills Hoist is not only an Australian icon, but a must in every backyard in this country. Thanks for the pegs too :)
I picked this hoist to replace a vintage version of the same brand and dimensions. By vintage, I'm talking close to 70 years old. Do they make them like they used to? I'd say they make them more efficient now considering how heavy the old one was to hoist up and down. Whether it lasts 70 years is another question but considering it comes with a 10 year warranty and having examined it closely, I think it's a safe bet we'll get at least 30 years out of it with good care. It certainly appears that solid to me.The size is fantastic, needless to say, chosen largely for the wider dimensions to accommodate blankets and quilts. Even if you're only washing for one or two people, don't be reluctant to consider this one as its size alone may prove handy for such large items.
It's a clothes line so does the job. Newly installed so unsure how long it will last without rushing or wires breaking but it seems fairly good quality and will probably last as long as we live here.My husband was able to quickly put it together. However, the wire is bundled with cable ties. It should be on a spole as it took longer to untangle and straighten the wire than doing everything else. This is the only reason why I didn't give 5 stars.Note that the poles and wire are coated with a fine grease. This is probably to prevent rusting in the box. Make sure you wash the poles and wire with hot soapy water (I did it 3 times) before using, especially white items, or they will be covered in grease.
This clothesline is just the best everyone should have one.the amount of things you can hang out . It is perfect i just love love love it thank hills..lifestyle clotheslines are the cheapest and service is excellent what else can i say thank you.
