I was seen by dermatologists, put on antibiotics, tried calendula cream, vanicream, even diaper rash cream (as zinc is a main ingredient & a powerhouse for perioral dermatitis relief), and more. As well as rubbing it between your fingers before applying. A little goes a long way, so a very small amount can provide coverage for your whole face without giving it a zinc oxide white cast. If you find your skin to be sticky or oily after application, then you've probably used too much. I find the scent of the cream to be clean and virtually unnoticeable. This cream particularly fave, moisturizes my skin deeply and is very rich but does not leave an oily film nor has it ever pilled under makeup as well instantly calms any redness orIrritation or stinging skin, but it speeds up the healing of any blemishes or “spots” that I’ve maybe aggravated by picking or messing with when I should be leaving them alone. I’ve heard some complain that this is too expensive to try but I buy the smallest tube and it lasts me anywhere from 2-4 months depending on how heavily I apply and if I’ve been good to mySkin. I strongly recommend this cream for all those suffering with acne, adult acne, psoriasis, Lupus, rosacea, dermatillomania, rashes or insect bites even after a sun burn. It’s truly changed my life and skin and I am forever grateful.
let me tell you. i do not know what happened to me but I woke up one day with my face BLOOD red, burning, and dry to the point i was crying and could only use a fan in front of me. i heard about this for a damaged barrier and as soon as I used it my face was calming down. it didn't stay that bad for much longer, maybe a few days. now, i am struggling with what appears to be contact dermatitis after using a product a month ago after a facial that made my skin go crazy. i keep getting the random red rash that is super dry and burns to the point of pain. i use this cream and it soothes it so much, even when my lotion stings and causes redness. i will say i feel like it has clogged some pores around my nose and chin, but nothing serious, and isn't extremely hydrating ...
