I absolutely love this conditioner. I use the shampoo and daily hair repair in conjunction with this product. My hair was dry and damaged from malnutrition and these products have been a saving grace for my hair. My hair was so dry, so brittle and so frizzy but that wasn’t anything that the Damage Remedy range couldn’t handle. I especially love the scent of bergamot, mandarin and ylang ylang. I would highly recommend this conditioner as well as the shampoo and other damage remedy product. They work wonders! I couldn’t be happier with my hair care routine. Another bonus is that you can buy these bottles in 250ml or 1L bottles so if you want to stock up, you can! It is pricey but definitely worth the price in my opinion.

I dyed my hair for about 3 years and since then my hair hasn't ever been right. I have not had hair dye since then. So, a year ago I was expecting heavy breakage to the point I almost cut off my hair again because nothing was working. A must have for overvserviced hair

When I was d sad ignificsntly younger, I used to bleach my hair a lot. I’d go from a dark (level 1-2) to a level 10/11, this was on top of daily washing and straightening my curly hair. it was destroyed.Damage remedy and a brand called Ojon (the company is now dissolved) we’re the only ones that worked.What it did was firstly help stop the extent of breakage, it also made my hair much softer and hydrated to touch.From straw it started after about 3 weeks onwards to look more like hair. If you are a platinum blonde, I’d reccomend mixing your (direct dye or toner with this as it really is that good.I know it is expensive, but I would say entirely worth it.

Fantastic results

Brilliant! My hair is long, slightly wavy, very thick and not coloured and I try and look after it - heat protection and leave in conditioners etc - but for some reason it had started to feel really dry and crunchy at the ends and generally just ‘horrible’. In one go, this restored my hair back to how it usually is, soft to the touch and bouncy. I used the matching shampoo as well. Very pleased with both products. The conditioner is expensive, but you really don’t need a lot to get the comb through wet hair - even with a lot of hair, like mine, I was pleasantly surprised!

Great for fine hair

I read reviews on this conditioner and Lookfantastic had a deal on Aveda. I did think that it was a bit le pricey for the amount but a little goes a long way. I put it about a heaped teaspoon on my mid length bob on the end then massage it in all over. I leave it on for 3 minutes (length of time on toothbrush cleaner). Rinses out well. I have fine, highlighted hair and I am over sixty. This is one of the best silicone free conditioners that I have used. No strong smell and works happily with any of the shampoos I own, although I do use the aveda shampoo that cleanses hair products from your hair, which keeps blond highlights looking nice and bright.

I think this is the best Aveda product they make!

If you have damaged hair, or just hair that isn't damaged but very dry, try this, it works well and gives lasting results. Unlike many repairing products you don't need a cumulative use effect to make it work, it works first time and works every time. Unlike most repairing products I don't feel I have to clarify to remove any build up, for some reason I can use this without issue which I can't really say about any other repairing range.Very much recommended from someone with lightened, highlighted and damaged by heat for daily use. Top tip? The mask is just the same as the conditioner but more dense. If you leave this product in for longer you get pretty much the same results as the mask.

It really is worth every penny and fixed my hair

Wow. This conditioner and the whole damage remedy line has done wonders for my damaged, dry, dull, split-end hair. I have gone to an Aveda salon for many, many years and I finally decided to splurge on some good product that my stylist recommended. My hair was so dry and damaged. I felt like it was tired of the shampoo and conditioner I was using. I try to only wash my hair 2-3 times per week, but I use a straightener every single day which was doing some serious damage. I was using a higher end brand and a fairly expensive deep conditioner, but it just wasn't working that great. I have been using this, along with the shampoo, the damage remedy daily hair repair (or the smooth infusion style prep, depending on the humidity), and on non-wash days I spray the heat ... MoreWow. This conditioner and the whole damage remedy line has done wonders for my damaged, dry, dull, split-end hair. I have been using this, along with the shampoo, the damage remedy daily hair repair (or the smooth infusion style prep, depending on the humidity), and on non-wash days I spray the heat relief thermal protector and conditioning mist before I run my straightener through, for about 6 weeks and have noticed a huge difference. It's like I got a whole new head of hair. My hair is healthy and soft again. The smell is AMAZING. I leave it in while I wash my body and it rinses out easily and doesn't leave a residue. If you have damaged, dry hair, this product will likely fix it and keep your hair looking beautiful.

Why did you guys stop making the liters?

It's an excellent conditioner for my bleach blonde, fine curly hair. It leaves my hair feeling hydrated and soft and has helped keep my hair strong and beautiful for years now... I've tried the botanical line and I know Aveda says it's a "replacement" but it's not... I don't know why Aveda is trying to fix something that isn't broken. Please bring back the liters. I might have to switch companies all together because of this price hike on these smaller bottles, what a bummer! By all means, grow your product line and dive into science of new formulas and all that but don't take away what people already love. Such a bummer...

excellent product; alas, Aveda no longer sells the liter

I've used this product for years on my dry, damaged hair, despite the product increasing in price over the past few years by about $40/liter. Bottom line: it works well to rehydrate and repair my hair. Now, Aveda is no longer selling this product by the liter, making it that much more expensive to purchase an equivalent amount in the smaller containers. I've tried other Aveda conditioners, to include the Botanical Repair at $165/liter, which is about the price of the Dry Remedy liter, but the Botanical Repair is not quite as rich and effective as the Dry Remedy. Aveda, please bring back the Dry Remedy in the liter size.
