Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair 100 ml

Aveda is a brand I know I can trust to deliver on its promises. This daily hair repair also helps protect from heat styling which is a plus. The scent is very clean and pleasant. I have fine curly hair that can get weighed down with too heavy of a leave in conditioner. This formula is light enough that it doesn’t take away volume or lift for me. It’s a creamy yet thinner consistency that glides through wet hair. I don’t personally use it daily as it’s too much for my fine strands but like to use it weekly for improved quality and visible repair to my hair.

I have been using this product daily for many years! The damage remedy daily hair repair is truly a god send for my dry, frizzy hair. I use this in combination with the shampoo and conditioner and my hair has never been in better condition. I have long, dark brown, wavy hair that is quite thick. I love the scent! It smells of bergamot, mandarin and ylang ylang. It is a really lovely scent and I appreciate that my hair smells so sweet all of the time. Most importantly the product does what it says it will. It is a damage remedy! It has definitely remedied damage in my hair and I will continue using this product for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend this product!

My partner has thick, wavy hair that is super dry. Our stylist recommended Aveda Daily Hair Repair for both of us and it's worked out pretty well. My partner uses it on dry hair tame his curls and smooth out the ends. I use a super tiny amount on the ends of my damp hair before styling to smooth flyaways. A little goes a long way. Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair actually has a faint plastic smell that I find a little off-putting. Tends to cause tangling when applied to wet hair. Too thick to use on dry, fine hair - weighs it down.

A constain favourite

This is my absolute favourite leave in conditioner. You can put it on when your hair is wet or use it to smooth out your tresses when they're dry. Only use it on the mids to ends of your hair, not your roots. It really softens your hair making it more glossy and soft to the touch. I've tried others but always come back to this. I have shoulder length, fine, bleached and coloured hair so it has to work for it's praise.

But this is one of the better ones Aveda make and in fact the whole range is one I'd recommend. It's a leave-in. You apply to freshly wash, towel dried hair before drying with a dryer and styling as normal. It wont reverse damage, but it will help (although not prevent) any further damage from drying with heat or brushing whilst wet and so on. I'd recommend this to anyone with damaged hair, fine, thick, wavy or straight it really works for most people I think. It isn't cheap, you get a fair amount but not masses. I Really Wanted to Love This...

I've had luck with Aveda products I've tried for some time now after I have searched for a solution for dryness. My hair is prematurely turning white and it has made my hair very dry and damaged, not to mention that I do have the dryness from having curly/wavy hair. Needless to say, I have very high maintenance hair. I tried nutriplenish deep moisture with the leave-in (which I LOVE btw), and it worked wonders! I decided to give this a try to help repair my damaged hair, and it actually dried my hair and made the damage worse. I have already contacted customer service for a refund, but I wanted to write a review in case anyone else has the same kind of hair as me and could benefit from knowing how great Nutriplenish is! One of my favorite leave-in products

Very recommended- this is a great product. For me with my damaged hair I have to use a leave-in or my hair really doesn't fair well with a hairdryer or straighteners. This product is great for this. It adds softness, my hair seems to be less damaged when I do use it and it's fine for every wash/dry.I was advised to use it every day, but I don't wash my hair every day (water is too "hard", my hair and scalp doesn't seem to need a daily wash and it hasn't worked well when I have done). I wouldn't advise using this on days when you have not washed your hair, it needs a hairdryer really to get it to "work" in the same way. Please- No More Silicone!!

I've been using Damage Remedy off and on for years ..but recently noticed that this product has Silicone in it! This is disappointing because i have taken for granted that Aveda does not routinely put Silicones in their product line. Please remove this from all your products and put something natural and organic in it's place or nothing is preferable to this ingredient! Now I find myself looking at all my Aveda products i use, which is extensive. Ive used Aveda for over 20 years but this has shaken my faith that you have my best interests at heart..if i want Silicone based products i can hop down to my local drug store. I come to Aveda because i want something GOOD for my hair. Silicone is NOT good.

THE BEST CONDITIONER IN THE WORLD

I've used this product for years on my long straight hair that tangles easily with other conditioner, it's hands down the best hair care product. When Aveda stopped making it and said Botanical Repair was the replacement I was shocked. I can't use Botanical Repair, it leaves my hair feeling like it is coated with something and a ridiculous amount of tangles. Thank you for bringing back Damage Remedy now please bring back the big sizes before I run out of my last bottle🙏 We folks with long hair go through a small size in a couple of washings.

Type 4, high porosity hair, A Game Changer

I have dry, grey growing out hennaed, shoulder lenght hair and was ready for the BC. As a last resort I used Aveda Damage Repair and Nutri Plenish daily moisturising treatment (mixed together) while my hair is damp, finishing with a drop or two for sealing for twist outs. Using Nutri plenish multi use hair oil or melanin multi use pure oil blend. A little goes a long way.
