Aveda Nutriplenish Shampoo Light Moisture 250 ml

My absolute favorite shampoo for when my hair is in need of a hydration infusion! This shampoo is packed with all natural plant and fruit extracts to nourish the hair, providing smoothness, shine and strength. Because I have fine hair, I choose the light version along with the coordinating conditioner. This shampoo is creamy and smells so good. It leaves your hair super clean without feeling stripped or dry. I also use the conditioner, leave in spray conditioner and curl Gelee from this line. In the picture shown, I had a professional Nutriplenish mask done at the salon and my hair looks and feels amazing!

I decided I wanted to try the Nutriplenish because Dry Rememdy had been discontinued. I was extremely disappointed. The smell was unpleasant and thankfully mild enough it didn’t linger in my hair. AWFUL smell!

A clerk at the Aveda store in Oakbrook, IL, recommended this product to me to assist with dry hair. Because I have used other Aveda products and enjoyed them, I decided to take her advice. I put the shampoo in my bathroom closet to use after I had used up the bottle of shampoo already in my shower.The first time I used this I almost choked on the smell; it was that God-awful and STRONG. I thought, perhaps, after rinsing and drying my hair the smell would subside. No such luck. I went to bed and the smell was so intense it kept me awake. So, I had to get up after about 40 minutes to go back into the shower and re-wash my hair with a DIFFERENT shampoo to get the awful hair out.The kicker? After 3 tries I found a replacement for Color Conserve

I was sad when the Color Conserve was discontinued because I had used it for years, so I needed to find a replacement. I felt like Goldilocks, after trying the Control Color, which smelled awful and didn't make my hair feel great, and trying the Botanical Repair Strengthening, which made my hair feel stiff, I finally used the Nutriplenish Deep Moisture Shampoo, third product was "just right". The smell is not great, but it does make my hair feel good. I use it along with the Control Color Conditioner, which smells very nice. The combination of the two products is just right for my thick, straight, highlighted hair.

Disappointing, not for all hair types

I've been using this shampoo and its matching conditioner (no other products) for about a month now. I was hoping maybe my hair needed to get used to it, but no, this product is disappointing. It leaves my hair a combination of frizzy and somehow waxy that previously only Pantene had accomplished. My hair is fine and wavy, not that you can see any waves after using this shampoo and conditioner. I would say skip this product if you have fine hair that tends a little dry or have hair without a strong curl. Really a bummer, Aveda came highly recommended, maybe their other products are better? skip this one though.

I found the perfect shampoo!!!

I have been looking for a shampoo that works on my hair for years!! A few years ago my hair (2b waves) got super dry. Everything I tried left my hair weighed down, flat, lifeless and greasy. Honestly I was really hesitant to try this. I expected the same results as everything else I tried. I was wrong!! This moisturized my hair without weighing it down or making it greasy or flat. My hair is light, super soft, and full of movement and volume. I was shocked!! Along with the nutriplenish conditioner deep moisture my hair is PERFECT! I realize shampoos work differently on each person. But I encourage you to give this a try. It really was the magic my hair needed. Tip - a little goes a long way. You don't need to use much. I hope Aveda makes this FOREVER!

Massive shedding!

As an Aveda customer of over 30 years, I wanted to love this product...The first wash left my hair hydrated and moisturized, but each subsequent use I noticed more hair falling out after each shampoo! The increase is actually alarming! Strands of my hair are everywhere! My hair seems so much thinner, and actually more dull and dry. Could it be it made my scalp unhappy? SO disappointed!
