Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Gel Face Moisturizer 0.5 oz Trial Size

This product is fantastic on my skin. As a person with normal to dry skin this oat gel moisturiser soothed and nourished my skin deeply and took away that tight and itchy feeling on my skin that other moisturisers could not. My skin looks glowing and radiant after using it and my skin felt soft to the touch. The cream itself goes on silky and smooth and is fast absorbing. The moisturiser is fragrant free which is kind to my skin and prevents my skin flaring up. The oat gel moisturiser is suitable for sensitive skin, hypoallergenic and non comedogenic. Recently, my wife was diagnosed with an allergy to certain ingredients found in cosmetics. After determining the specific ingredients to avoid, our doctors provided us with a list of products that were free of these allergens. High end feel w/o breaking thr bank

I have very sensitive skin due to an auto-immune disease. Derm recommended Aveeno; so, I stick with that brand for skin cat, body wash, and sunscreen. I've been using the Aveeno Ultra Calming facewash %26 thr moisturizer for years. The moisturizer in pump bottle has been unavailable for a bit; so, i decided to try this product. I'm very pleased %26 actually prefer this one with the oat gel. After using it 2 weeks, no skin reaction and love the way it makes my skin feel. The comparitive cost to other moisturizers on the market, pthe fact that my Derm Dr recommends Aveeno, and just how soft my face feels, makes this a winner for me. This is definitley going on the repeat purchase list.

I really wanted to like it

I bought this product a month ago as an alternative to the Hydrogel. I was kinda thrown off by the consistency. It was a mix of gel with a touch a cream, in my opinion more cream than I would like. I have oily skin and I wanted a gel like moisturizer that would compliment my sunscreen and not feel so heavy, well that kinda didn't happen with this. So then, I figure I didn't want to waste product or money, I used this in my night routine on the days I use adapalene and I didn't like how they felt together. I waited the recommended time of 5-10 mins after applying my retinoid, so that I could get those benefits and I just felt greasy. And this was with using a pea size of everything. Don't want to discourage anyone else from trying but this just wasn't a fit for me.

It's a NO GO for my Rosacea prone/Sensitive skin

As a repeat buyer of the Neutrogena hydroboost extra dry skin frag free moisturizer– I decided to purchase the Aveeno calm oat gel after people compared the two to be similar in quality and effectiveness...This was NOT the case for me! I have dry, sensitive and rosacea prone skin. I put this on after washing my face and my skin immediately was red and irritated – even developed a small hive under my eye! I realize that one of the ingredients is Feverfew and I'm curious as to is this is what I reacted to since I once used a chamomile eye cream and had a similar reaction. if you are sensitive to flower/plants I would probably avoid this product. Just be aware that some people do have allergies to feverfew and that plant family. My skin feels like GLASS

I just bought this and have been using Cetaphil for forever but it wasn't making my skin feel GREAT. So, I decided to try something different, but I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on something new. I found this aveeno oat gel cream and was hesitant because I have sensitive skin and it tends to get dry during the winter and gel creams don't really work well with that. But I tried it, and I am NEVER switching to another cream for my face. It it thicker than the regular gel creams and it smells just like oats which is AMAZING but its also not fragranced. With the mix of using the oat cleanser and then this cream, it makes my skin buttery soft. Pleasantly surprised

After trying so many different lotions, too many to name, and either breaking out more, experiencing an intense burning sensation as the product sits on my face, breaking out in a contact rash that itches and covets my face - I tried this new product with great reluctance. When I oredered the smallest size there were not a whole lot of videos on the product. So was going in blind.I was pleasently surprised. A little goes a long way, it feels soothing like alo vera would be on a sun burn. My acne doesnt look as enflamed after it has soaked into my skin. So far I have only been using it at night, to help calm my skin after a long hard day of working and wearing makeup. When it soaks into my skin, I do not sit there and think man does my face smell like chemicals. I am also surprised as to how long it has lasted me. I usually only use 3 pinki finger sized amount on my cheeks and forehead rub it in gently into my face and neck; that seems to be all I need. So I am pleased to say I will be buying more since, I only have two nights worth left.

Saved my skin. Great for cystic acne prone and rash prone skin

I have super sensitive skin on my face. Pretty much every day/night cream gives me this weird pindot rash that is slightly itchy and raised.... almost like if I had super tiny goose bumps all over my face.... cystic acne. Fun. I’m very wary of trying new products because EVERYTHINNNNGGGGG causes these weird breakouts and I’m left with weeks of recovery from irritated skin, terrible texture, terrible flakiness, breakouts, cystic acne. However, I’m happy to say, I noticed my pindot rash coming up from something else, I put this product on in AM/PM and the rash seems to be subsiding without further irritation.
