Avene Hydrance Rich Hydrating Cream - 40ml

This is deeply hydrating and has a lovely scent. Scented skin care products are a very personal preference but I find the scent to be very light, floral, slightly powdery, and feminine. I’m on my second bottle because this moisturizer has helped to improve the condition of my very dry skin. I’ve also tried several other Avene products because I liked this facial moisturizer so much. Overall I would recommend this skincare brand and particularly this product.

Five stars for product quality and performance. It has all the qualities I was searching for. It is rich, ultra hydrating, thick and goes on smoothly. The winters are long and drying in New England. I wanted this as my everyday, go-to moisturizer. The moment I opened it and caught wind of the scent was my usual "oh, no...". I absolutely detest the signature scent of AVENE (yet I love the product!). It is strong, it lingers and frequently can be irritating. Why would company that is know for making products for people with sensitive skin use a horrible fragrance? It is a bitter/floral/old-lady cheap perfume scent. Horrible. I could live with a scent which was subtle, did not linger and fresh. Please consider remaking your signature scent.

Good for sensitive skin

My skin is overly reactive and I have rosacea, so I have to be very careful to use only gentle skin formulas. The consistency is more lotion than cream, almost no scent, does not pill under my tinted sunscreen and, most importantly, does not flare up my rosacea. It does, however, leave a slight sheen for a while. I have mature skin, so I don't know how this would behave with oily skin. Might be ok for winter. Have only used this for a week or two, but so far, so good. It provides light moisture, but does not seem to improve fine lines or wrinkles. So, if you're looking for a basic moisturizer that does not clog pores or cause irritation, this may be for you.

Great for thirsty skin!

I have dry sensitive skin and during autumn/winter my skin gets super dry because of having the central heating on a lot. This awesome set came just in time to help me with my winter skin. I used the kit for 3 weeks and from the first application I noticed a difference. And by week 3, I now have such soft, hydrated skin that I’ve completely switched to the Hydrance kit. There’s no stickiness. It absorbs lovely. There’s no over powering fragrance, just a hint of a pleasant scent. And the results speak for themselves. I’d definitely recommend this kit to anyone with dry skin that needs a boost of hydration.

Great product - poor packaging!

If I were just rating the product, I would give it a 5, but the packaging barely hits the 3 mark. I love this face cream, but it is impossible to remove the cream when the tube is almost empty. You cannot unscrew the cover to squeeze it out, so you are left with either throwing away several days of product, or cutting the tube open and then it dries up. I'm really tired of having to discard unused cream, so I am looking for something similar in another brand. It's too bad that the manufacturer doesn't feel the need to fix this issue - I imagine I'm not the only one that has turned to another brand because of it.

Great results

I bought this for the warmer weather. I use the Rich Hydrating Cream in the jar for Fall/Winter. I still get the results even though it is lighter. Honestly, I’ve never been disappointed with any of Avene’s products. My allergist recommended a drug store brand for my daughters eczema and instead I bought the pump lotion. She was amazed at the progress. I get asked often about my skin care routine. I highly recommend trying any of their products.

Great routine for perfect skin

This is an excellent, expert skincare routine that replenishes moisture to all types of dehydrated sensitive skin for up to 24 hours. The routine is very simple but the results are superb. The first step is to cleanse the face with the thermal spring water to sooth, freshen and balance PH levels on the skin. Next, I apply the serum onto the face and neck to rehydrate and smooth the appearance of fine lines. Lastly I moisturise with the rich hydrating cream for a smooth finish. My skin looks and feels great. No wonder it has been recommended by dermatologists. This is the first time I have used an Avene product but it will not be the last. A great routine that I will be using in the future.

The pack contains three products and the back of the pack easily explains which order to do each one. The soothing spray left my skin feeling refreshed, invigorated and calm and a perfect amount sprays out each time. Perfect moisturiser

I have tried using a lot of moisturisers and I have super dry skin. I tried this and it is amazong to the skin on winters. Very subtle fragrance which i don't mind. I just think i am little sensitive using it around eyes. Rich hydration and smooth texture. One more feedback would be an ease to open this like a pop up or press. Some bottles like La roche posay have easy bottle opening which is very simple detail but nice.

My dermatologist recommended this brand to me for my incredibly (ridiculously) sensitive skin. My 55 yr old skin is dry on the chin and cheeks and oily on the nose and forehead. I also like to breakout with angry red pimples. When I combat the pimples the other parts of face react contrary to what is ideal. Too dry, too irritated or too red. Enter Avene products and some actual relief! This moisturizer brought my dry parts back in line within two days! No irritation and adverse effects on the oily parts!
