Avène Hydrance Hydrating Aqua Cream-In-Gel 50ml

10 stars. it's the best gel cream I've used in the last few months, I don't know how I could live without it 😂 It's very light in texture, kept in the fridge and then applied to the skin, it gives you a cooling sensation, a refresher. the skin remains very soft, silky with a natural glow and the skin even becomes velvety. my skin is dry and it is absorbed quickly, and in combination with an serum with vitamin c in the morning, it really works wonders. Although it contains perfume, it does not have a perfumed smell at all and does not irritate my skin. I recommend it to everyone, it's worth a try

I did receive product in a sample size but was surprised at how little I had to use for my whole face. The sample last me a whole week and a half which was extremely surprising. I love how hydrating this was without feeling greasy or heavy. it sunk into my skin well and I felt like I didn’t need any other moisturizer or serum after using this for the rest of the day. Will definitely be purchased a full-size once winter time comes it will be even better for my dry sensitive skin sister consistency is a little bit more in the thicker side for a cream/gel. recommend this over the belief aqua bomb

This is an excellent daily moisturizer. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and this moisturizer is deeply hydrating. It has a gel formula that is very lightweight and it is very gentle on skin. It absorbs very quickly and it doesn’t leave any residue on the skin. It is an ideal cream to apply under makeup because it does not interfere with, or alter makeup at all. It keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day. I think that this cream would work well with all skin types, even oily. Fourth time getting this moisturizer

I love this moisturizer! I use it morning and night. It is so lightweight and perfect for summer when I don't want something to heavy. I alternate it with a heavier, thicker moisturizer from cetaphil when I need intense hydration. But I love this for everyday use, and I'll keep it in my routine. It's so weightless and goes great with a daily sunscreen also. I have very sensitive acne prone skin and this is great for it. No issues.

Great face gel works wonders

Product great, first saw it being rated on daytime tv on an article about best face creams to combat winter dryness. This is exactly what it does. Our skin suffers in the winter months and mine tends to dry out mostly because of central heating and constant changes from going from heated buildings and then out in the cold air. This gel hydrates the skin and replenishes the moisture. The first ingredient it boasts is water. I would definitely recommend.Shame the online buying experience from Superdrug wasn’t as good.

I was looking for a more hydrating face moisturizer. The consistency of the product is nice, however I don’t think it’s anything special as far as hydrating goes. The reason for the 2 star rating is the smell! It is horrible and it stays with you throughout the day! My eyes stung from it. I recently just found the Avene line through my esthetician and loved what she recommended to me. I assumed if you are purchasing from this line you have sensitive skin like me. I didn’t even bother to read if it had fragrance because the previous 3 products I’ve purchased have not. It’s so off-putting and honestly just stinky. I absolutely can’t use it. Irritated my skin horribly!

To preface I have dry skin and sensitive skin. I don't know what is in this but after applying it made my whole face burn. It also has quite a bit of fragrance in it and I do not like that in a moisturizer and this also probably was another reason for the irritation. I did leave it on my face and after awhile the burning went away. As far as moisturizer goes this was not very moisturizing on my skin. I would not recommend this for very dry skin because there are much better products for a lesser price than this one. This product was a bummer considering I saw a derm talk about the ingredients and how it was supposed to be great for moisture. I went back to my old faithful which is LRP.

Luscious Eye and Skin Treatment

I love this product! It's a cross between a gel and a cream. It's light and goes on smoothly with a small amount. I used this under my eyes and for dry skin patches on my face, such as around my nose area. It did not irritate my skin or eyes as some products have done, and these areas stayed moist and supple all day long--no itching due to it drying out. I highly recommend this product. The texture is like no other skin cream! I love it!

My skin has gone thru

My skin has gone thru several years of traumatic upset where I believe my protective layer was depleted/gone for unknown reasons. Because of this I developed infections , rosacea symptoms and an ugly looking face.All of this was so troubling to me because I had always had beautiful skin, I began using Avene products one by one and over time, my skin totally cleared. Always when the furnace goes on in the fall, my skin takes a hit w dryness. No longer true....Hydrance Aqua-gel is amazingly soothing and hydrating. It is going to be a forever staple to my skin regime. Thank you Avene!!!

Something new

This gel is light weight, goes on smooth and a little goes a long way. However the gel is no good for acne prone skin types. I experienced a bad reaction that caused a breakout. I've never had any issues with Avene products. Hints why I am care free when trying something new from Avene. Perhaps it was the added fragrance. Hopefully Avene launche a fragrance free aqua gel.
