These glass bottles are beautiful. Most bottles look a bit cheap and flimsy, but these shine. They are the first bottles that have looked attractive sitting on my counter.These bottles are so easy to assemble and clean. There are 3 pieces plus the protective cap. I have a six month old son who is exclusively breastfed fed. Despite countless attempts (and a lot of money wasted buying various bottles and nipples) he has flatly refused to drink from any bottle. I was ready to give up and start working on having him drink from an open cup when I received these bottles.I loved that the bottles are glass rather than plastic and could immediately tell the nipple was different than others we've tried. Alright it’s 2022 and we’re all concerned with anything and everything these days, so it’s not different when it comes to products for infants/kids. When it comes to warming or heating things up, plastic is always a little questionable. Previous bottles I’ve used were made from food grade silicone and I swore by them for my first, and I have used them for my second also, but there is something different about glass. It just feels…safer, you also don’t have to worry about the outside of the bottle being too hot to hold either, or there being hot and cold spots in your milk, everything heats evenly.Negatives:•Again, it’s made of glass. Although I just listed this as a positive…it’s also a negative. Only because, well, it’s glass and as we all know glass doesn’t do as well with ceramic floors, falls, drops and fumbles as well as its counterparts do. If you keep it away from the edges of counters and tables—and cats, you should be alright.•The cap can be tricky to take off. I have had this issue with previous bottles I have used also, there is a certain way to pop the lid off by pushing on the one side of it which doesn’t sound like it would be a pain but if you add, wet hands, poor hand strength, or just the stress of trying to get the bottle in your kids mouth as quickly as humanly possible to stop them from screaming like a banshee in your ear, it can be a little cumbersome, but definitely not a deal breaker.Overall, it’s a 9/10 in my books and I would recommend the product to family and friends. They truly are a well-made, easy to use and clean product for you and your baby.
Philips AVENT Natural glass baby bottle 3.0 (SCY930/01)We really like this Philips Avent natural glass baby bottle. It has been perfect for our new born. It has given my Mrs a break from breast feeding and means I can get up in the night to feed my little one. The bottle has a good weight too and feels real quality supporting our baby's drinking rhythm. She took to the bottle extremely well due to the natural response nipple which only releases milk when she actively drinks. It allows her to drink, swallow and breathe at her own pace just like when breast feeding. This really does make it seamless to combine breast and bottle feeding.We would highly recommend!

Secondly, other bottles made of glass often come with a silicone sleeve to put over the bottle in order to protect it in case it is dropped. These bottles do not come with protective sleeves, so if they are dropped they are more likely to shatter, and my baby for one likes to toss her bottle both while she is feeding as well as when she is finished with it.

Being an older baby he is more efficient at removing milk breastfeeding, so this particular flow was too slow for him. I would consider purchasing a faster flow nipple to try when they become available!I would recommend this product to friends with younger babies to try. In the future I would suggest a variety of nipple flows be available in the starter pack so parents can find which flow works best for their baby!
