I like the creamy texture and the fact that the bottle has a pump. It feels smooth and luxurious. I have to use 3 pumps into my shower scrunchy to make it lather up nicely. For me, that is a bit much.The fragrance is very pleasant. Overall, a really good product.

I love avene products and I usually use the original xeracalm cleanser.I wanted to try this product but I can't stand the heavy fragrance . I am going right back to my original avene cleanser.

I love the XeraCalm line (the Lipid Replenishing Balm is my ride or die!), so I was excited to try out this new shower cream. All in all, it works nicely. It's a gentle cleanser that lightly moisturizes which is something my dry skin very much needs. However, it has one big problem, hence the 4 stars. It's very strongly fragranced. I'm not sensitive to fragrances (irritation or smell wise) yet I definitely noticed how strong it was. It should be said that it's not a bad smell, kind of floral. Nevertheless, I think it's a strange formulation inclusion when it's marketed in the XeraCalm line. So if you are allergic or sensitive to fragrances, this product may not work for you.

Not sure why you added seed oils and xanthum gum. Avene should know betterBring back tolerance extreme cleansing cream. This product is not as good and the other has better ingredient.
I love the XeraCalm line and have every product they make. It’s easy to apply with my hands and wash my arms, legs and torso. It feels good on my skin. My only problem with the shower cream is the fragrance. I have decided not to repurchase because every shower it makes me sneeze and overloads my sinuses. If Avene decides to make it fragrance free I will try it again.
I have used Avene XeraCalm lipid cleanser for 4 years. Love it, however this new Shower Cream feels more like a nice shower gel and is easier to apply without losing any of it. It is providing the same softness, and absolutely does not break me out. I highly recommend it and will continue to use. Excellent improvement to an already quality product.
