Batiste Dry Shampoo & Colour Protect 200ml

This dry shampoo is great for keeping your hair looking non-greasy, it also makes my hair last so much longer between washes and keeps it nice and fresh. As for colour protecting, I don’t really think this dry shampoo makes a difference, i get blonde highlights and they still darken over time when using this. I’ve also heard that batiste isn’t the best brand for long-term hair and scalp health but it does do it’s job very effectively.

Since my hair gets greasy real fast, I am very dependent on dry shampoos and I have tried out a number of products. The ones by Batiste seemed to work the best on me. I have blond-colored hair and this shampoo makes my hair look and smell fresh

A Welcomed Surprise

I discovered this item on clearance while browsing at my Ulta Store. I had never had a product from this brand before. This was quite impressive. I have used it only once but it leaves a nice body to my hair and the scent is a delicate light and not cloying. Previously I had one that cost triple from Aveda and it was nasty. I have color trested, fine, wavy hair.

Great shampoo

I have always been a bit sceptical of dry shampoo thinking my hair wouldn't feel clean and the product would build up in my hair.Having recently dyed my hair I chose the colour protect dry shampoo and was pleasantly surprised. So I normally wash my hair every day so need a shampoo that protects my colour. I found that using this every other day was enough, it feels really light on my hair and smells divine. The smell lasts all day and several people asked what my perfume was !! After using it for a week and only wet shampooing once to prevent any build up that may have happened my hair looks, feels and smells amazing. I LOVE this

I just did a split dye on my hair, half is red the other half is black. I wash my hair about once a week and usually my hair can't stand not being washed. It get's oily crazy fast so i MUST have something in between to soak up the oil. I also wanted something that had UV protectant in it. I have used this twice so far and WOW what a difference. I'm loving that it doesn't leave the white residue and it actually does soak up the oil for days! The original wasn't that good to me in the past. This is way better for me personally. I also have very thin fine wavy hair. I will keep buying this, I will probably try other brands too just to see if there's a difference but this works really well for me so far.

Invisible lightweight dry shampoo with a UV filter

This colour protect dry shampoo is perfect for the summer as it contains a UV filter to prevent colour fade. It has that classic Batiste floral scent which is a quite a strong but a lovely fragrance and lasts all day. To use spray 30cm from head and massage in, it absorbs quickly, leaving no white residue, it feels lightweight and leaves my hair feeling so soft. It easily gives me an extra day between washes which is always good for coloured hair. It doesn't weigh down my fine hair or dull /whiten my blonde shade so my hair stays shiny. Perfect for ponytails too as it keeps my hair completely anti static and frizz free.

Love this dry shampoo

What a great product,I have been waiting for someone to consider coloured hair as the usual dry shampoo s leave my hair feeling quite dry. This has been a godsend as I recently broke my arm and struggling to do my hair. Lovely light spray that blends into your hair easily and doesn't leave that white chalky residue. When I first sprayed it I thought no way idvtjisvhoingbto work but I was writing. Great results and hair looked really healthy with no effect on my colour .Did find that my colour lasted longer but not washing my hair could also have helped this. Great product and I will definitely be buying more.

Ok as a dry shampoo but I didn't love it

As a dry shampoo this product works reasonably well. It does look a bit white when it is first sprayed on and having dark hair means it requires a fair but of brushing and rubbing to blend it in. It did leave my hair looking fresher but as I do have very thick hair I found that within a few hours it looked a bit greasy again. I did have one major issue whilst using this product, it made my head really itchy. I don't have a particularly sensitive scalp but this made it quite uncomfortable. I ended up washing my hair every day that I used it.As for the colour protect feature I honestly didn't notice any difference to my hair.

Seems good but nothing special

I am an avid user of dry shampoo and have tried many different brands. Batiste is the most known in this field and would always be the brand that I would go to for a quick refresh / de-oil! The colour protect version of their dry shampoo is just as easy to use as the original version and, honestly, I struggled to find much of a deifference to justify why it’s been made. I colour my hair and, inevitably, the colour faded over time - I haven’t noticed any difference in that since using this item. The one thing I would say is that my hair feels more nourished with this version compared to the original.

Sticking with the Original Formula

I was so excited to try this sheer dry shampoo by Batiste because I absolutely love their original formula (and I dye my hair). In fact, Batiste is my go-to dry shampoo and I've tried everything from Not Your Mother's to Living Proof to Keratese. The only time I stray is when I'm traveling, and I want a non-aerosol option and then, I use Billie.Anyway! I wasn't impressed by this color protecting dry shampoo. Yes, it went on sheer. Yes, it soaked up the oil. But I felt like it took WAY more product that the original formula, and for ~$3+ more, I will spend an extra 30 seconds blending the powder into my roots.
