Best thing I ever bought. That thing is a beast, wasn't expecting as much power it cuts trees like butter. I would recommend this for someone who has experience with chainsaws. The only little con for me would be the cap for the fuel and oil is tricky to put back on other than that it is a great product. I recommend looking up tutorials on how to properly install the chain, to learn about the fragile tension system so you do it properly from the start. I strongly recommend this product

The chainsaw comes with all the basic safety gear and seems good value. It started 3rd pull after fueled and oiled. However after starting to cut some dry clean hardwood the chain required re-adjustment several times in the approx 1.5hrs of use. The chain adjuster now doesn't tighten the chain and just free spins/ is broken. The saw is useless with a loose chain. I wouldn't recommend this product only due to the weak/ faulty adjuster.

Bought one, you can feel the cheap Chinese crappy quality just oozing out of this thing. Initial impressions are great, but look closer and not a single cover even remotely aligns with the next. Sure, it started after the second pull, but three months down the track and needed another e-start cover since this one broke. The bar simply melted away using Castrol bar oil, the little file that comes with it is next to utterly useless as a file, the flimsy plasticy crappy air filter broke as well as the thread holding the entire thing together, and the final straw was when the entire bore cracked after around five months of use. To fix the issue I simply chucked it out, felt so much better, and bought a second hand 64cc Stihl MS390. Quality and power from the Stihl are ... Sure the price of the Baumer is $300. But I may as well simply have burned that $300, since it would have been a better feeling and less frustration and cursing. Would I recommend one? No. Not even for the occasional once-in-a-blue-moon use. Save yourself the hassle and time, and buy a new or second hand Stihl. Or a Husky, if you are that way inclined. Don't bother buying one if these things if you plan to use it.

I am so impressed, l have many chain saws all for different types of jobsBut this powerful behemoth is everything and more as good as some expensive onesI have had her less than a month, gave her at least a dozen big tree jobs to do with out a hitch amazing!Out of the box she started first time and l have not looked back sinceKeep her clean and full with the right mix of fuel oil her chain and she isFantastically ready to goHighly recommended
I bought this Chinese chainsaw after having a big sthil 24" farmboss and a 20" husqvarna, it is a very powerful chain saw, starts easily, incredible cutting power in hardwood to the full depth of the 24" blade. I am super happy with it and the decompression plug on the cylinder makes starting a breeze. The big air cleaner element is good and the carby is easily adjusted to achieve maximum power. I did have to adjust it to get it to run at maximum power and slow the idle speed a little. The plastic air cleaner cover looks a little flimsy, take care with it, but everything else seems very robust. I have run one tank of fuel through it so far and it is a fabulous saw for the money! Highly recommended. Keith.
Purchased about 6 weeks ago, started straight out of the box. Cut a bit of small stuff initially to run it in then into the real stuff. I cut yellow & grey box timber which is as hard as it gets out this way. Does the job really well with no issues at all. Maintenance is the key though; clean after each session especially the air filter & ALWAYS use sharp chains & have 2-3 spares. For me, this saw so far has been a 'ball tearer'. Would you buy 8 of these saws or one of the brand names? For me definitely the Baumr-AG is a 'no brainer' & much easier on the budget. I also have had a 75cc Baumr-AG for 12 months & it handles the tough wood just as well & is a great back up saw. Thanks Edisons.
This saw has no airfilter over the airintake manifold, which after half an hours running, means it is wood fired. Sawdust in the inlet manifold, just ribbish design. Started after a few pulls on the starter, but would stall when you hit the throttle, no manual or on web site. Three holes by throttle trigger on body marked T, assumed it is throttle stop after taking cove off, H which increased air to mix and eventually got it to rev after fiddling with setting, using thin screwdriver provided in tool kit. Last hole marked L, assume this is idler mixture adjustment. Engine needs constant cleaning and retuning, it sucks in sawdust all the time. Uses a lot of fuel, but consider a comparable Sthil costs $2800, this saw is the GST on that price, so you get what you pay ... Uses a lot of fuel, but consider a comparable Sthil costs $2800, this saw is the GST on that price, so you get what you pay for, I am going for a Sthill tomorrow, this saw is not for a bloke who has no idea how a saw works, constant maintenance, every 20 minutes taking top off saw motor and removoving a platic cover which laughably tries to pass as an air filter, I sruck a Jiffy pad over the outside of the filter to try and stop the sawdust being inducted in to the engine, but it is such a crappy design the fine dust is stuck all over throttle butterfly, I was litetally scraping a layer of dust out after 20 minutes, really crap design. Not much power for a claimed big engine. My Sthil farm boss cuts quicker through red gum, 35cc compared to 92 6.8 HP, not sure how they claim 6.8 HP, more Horsefly Power, not Horses or Ponies. You get what you pay for, as I said, I will have a Sthil 25" chainsaw tomorrow, if I could sent this junker back to Edsons I would. Buyer beware, if you know what you are doing, you will laugh at this saw.
The first saw I received had three problems straight out of the box. - the cast metal casing was cracked through surrounding the chain brake. (Edisons told me this is not structural) - the decomp valve leaked al lot all the time resulting in a lack of cylinder compression. - throttle trigger would not easily engage. (Poor plastic moulding) After complaining and returning it, they sent a replacement saw. The second saw is fine and works well. Edisons were very good to deal with but it seems like luck of the draw as to what you get. Im not sure why the cant pick these faults up in China at the factory. They are obvious faults. I also found that the exhaust CAN start fires. Mine started a fire in a Yellow Box stump so thats pretty impressive.
I have just spent half the day with this new saw straight out of the box. I bought this to replace My 1960 vintage McCulloch 250. While the McCulloch is a much bigger saw in stature, the bar on both are 24 inch. The saw has a minor issue with the seal on the reservoir which constantly leaks but the performance of this new saw is just as good and in most cases better than my McCulloch. It chews through ironbark rely easily but the chain it is supplied with isn't up to the task, this said with perserverence it eventually chews through. I would highly recommend this saw, it's big, powerful and nice looking. It is a little hungry on fuel but some of the trunks I was cutting consumed the 24inch blade so can be understood. I am not sure how long the plastic housing will hold up, certainly not like the 53yo McCulloch which is still running. I love it for its easy starting, something the McCulloch has never been.
Initially it started and worked well but part-way through being used for the fourth time it spluttered to a stop. Saw would start again but not run. Been trying for a few days to get it going and now it won't even start. It was stored without fuel and fuel used was always fresh. Tried new batch of fuel anyway - no difference. Went to check sparkplug with the supplied plug spanner but there was not enough clearance for the spanner to be able to go over the plug, had to use an open end spanner and it only just got enough of a grip to get the plug out. Plug producing plenty of spark so that doesn't seem to be the problem. You get what you pay for, they've sold heaps of these things and the majority may work ok but mine seems to be a dud.
