Although the X32 is probably best as a live mixer due to amazingly flexible routing and digital snake accessories, I find it great in the studio as well. I replaced 2 Yamaha 02r desks with it and the learning curve was nil. The preamps are great, the monitor routing, fx, and DAW integration (Sonar Platinum) are likewise fantastic. Behringer seems too constantly update the firmware and add new features and has upped their game in recent years. I would recommend getting the P-16 Ms and each musician can have total control of their individual headphone/wedge mix.

The X32 has probably become the worlds most known digital mixing desk, and that's because they offer very good performance for the price, if not the best. The interface is very intuitive, and the audio quality is perfect for live work.My first gig with my own X32 was a dream compared to my old analog desk.In direct sunlight, the lights of the buttons and scribble strips are hard to see though, very hard actually.
Once you sit down with this mixer for a while you will love it. For the price it is unbelievable. It may not be built as well as the Midas M32 but considering it's less than half the price and with a 3 year warranty it's hard to find the downside!!
Easy to use mixer and better than expected sound quality
I simply cannot believe that so much technology can come in such a well priced and well made product.Steep learning curve - but worth it once you get the hang of the way they thought this out.I drive a top of the range BMW and this is the musical equivalent for my home recording setup
Great price for a great mixer. Lots of inputs lots of outputs. Midas design and Lexicon fx? Watt do you wont more?32x32 FireWire and USB?OK, done!48 channel digital snake ready? OK done! uncompress digital recording in USB?OK done! 16 analog XLR out plus 6 in/out? OK done!
Really a great board. It is a little complicated to learn but we are learning and once you get it, it is awesome. Great sound and very comparable to more expensive boards. Thanks
great desk, easy workflow, good sound. inputs on desk and possible with cad5 with 2 stageblocks on stage. Makes you have a desk with 32. In most situations thats enough. The great plus on this desk are the aux in-outputs. Makes inserting an extern fx or processor very simple. Ipad app is superb. mixing from the ipad is just that easy... for the rest, trust your ears & you have all you need with this desk..
