I ordered this product in bajaao.com and it was delivered in about a week, which is pretty good. Since then, I have been using this for a week now, and I'm totally glued to my computer and guitar. It's an amazing product, way more worth than it's price. At least that's what I feel. I have used this interface FL Studio 10 so far, works very smooth with it. For all the aspiring guitarists who want to record their work, I would recommend this as it's definitely affordable to any beginner. Once combined with any appropriate DAW, possibilities are endless. However, I recommend downloading latest versions of drivers from Behringer website, and avoid using the drivers you get in the box. So, do buy this product, get started and have fun!!P.S: Also check out Guitar Rig 5 ... MoreI ordered this product in bajaao.com and it was delivered in about a week, which is pretty good. I could not get this to work. Instructions said, "...blue LED is lit..." It didn't say anything about orange, which is what I got. And since it was not working, I had no way of knowing if this was a device failure or a driver failure.DRIVER! The driver failed to load on Windows 10 home, Win 10 Pro, and XP. XP was one of the operating systems supposedly supported by this unit. Driver support from Behringer has been withdrawn from their website. Search UGC102 driver for yourself and you'll see ALL THE PROBLEMS!

FOR PCs - Here is the deal with the Behringer UCG102. I first bought one about mid to late 2000s and they are fantastic. That said, a lot changes, especially with computer software, in a relatively short time. If you buy this in or after 2018, first thing to do is throw out the software (unless you still live in the XP era). Go to the Behringer website and search for the updated drivers (first search UCG102 and then click the "support" link on the page). Download and install. Next, go to the Native Instruments website and download the free trial size Guitar Rig 5 (it will do the same as what comes with this unit). The hardest part is flipping the right switches afterward. With the UCG102 plugged in via the USB port, open Guitar Rig 5. You should first get a box called "Audio and MIDI Settings" (if not, you will find it under the "Files" tab in Guitar Rig 5). Make sure the following are showing or change them to the following settings: Under the "Audio" Tab - Driver: ASIO / Device: ASIO4ALL v2 (current driver - 2018) / Under the "Routing" Tab - Make sure the Guitar Rig 5 Out L & R are set to "USB Audio Codex 1 & 2. Hook Guitar up to the UCG102 and either headphones or amp cable to the headphones out on the UCG102. Next, start Rocking! For MAC - I don't own a MAC but from the other comments it appears that MAC does not have the problems that PCs do with this.It may require individual tweaking but I just rebought this and did exactly as written and I get beautiful sounds on my Win10 64 bit system.Good Luck!
An impressive sounding device but I haven’t been able to get it to work yet. The software package that comes with it on CD is dated and doesn’t work with Windows 10. The drivers on CD are old too. So you have to get the new drivers from the Behringer web site. Then you have to get a sound software package. Audacity is too simple so I signed up for Pro Tools free, but it wouldn’t install the audio drivers. Then you need the Behringer USB link and then try to get the lot to work. I couldn’t. DJ City offered me a refund but I’m going to persist. I also bought a Jam for the iPad and that worked within minutes.
This product appeared to be a very simple, almost plug and play, interface that would let me play my RISA ukulele through my PC and laptop. I have been researching how to make this interface work for about a month. Some users are very lucky and very satisfied. Others, like me, have yet to get a single note out the PC speakers or headphones. It is an inexpensive device, but should still be straight-forward to install. IT IS NOT. Drivers are no longer available at the vendor site. The fact that even this business can not provide concrete installation instructions that result in this device working should be enough to scare anyone off this product. I'll continue to work with it to see if I can ultimately make it work, but I won't be holding my breath. Google this product and most of the reviews note that once you get the drivers properly installed and configured properly, it actually does work. The problem is that it could literally take hours to do this. I honestly can't tell you how I finally got it working. I became frustrated and randomly started messing with settings I didn't understand, and it started working. I was never able to achieve zero latency, but I was able to reduce it significantly. If you're a PC expert or love ripping your hair out in frustration to save a few bucks, by all means, purchase this. Otherwise, opt for the more costly products that will likely work nicely without sending you to a counselor.
Shame on Behringer and Musician's Friend for continuing to market this, without noting the software limitations! I'm fairly computer competent, but have still struggled all morning with trying to get this wretched thing to work. What should be a simple little gadget, requiring little more than plugging in to a USB port, has turned into a time consuming, expeditious tour of internet rabbit holes, trying to locate usable software elements that can all 'play nice' together. And I'm still not there: the software that I have located does not install correctly. Yeesh. Also, contrary to the sales pitch, you don't get to choose a Native Instruments modeled combo, as the included serial number is assigned to one model. For me, the buying decision here was between this item ... MoreShame on Behringer and Musician's Friend for continuing to market this, without noting the software limitations! Also, contrary to the sales pitch, you don't get to choose a Native Instruments modeled combo, as the included serial number is assigned to one model. For me, the buying decision here was between this item and the next higher priced units (the Bespeco and the Vox). The Behringer has already consumed more than the difference in price, in time and difficulty. I'll be returning this worse-than-useless thing, and looking into one of those. It strikes me that it might actually be possible to find and install software components that will allow this to function the way it is supposed to. But it should not be necessary to do that in the first place.Recommend to a friend? Not hardly. And I'll certainly be a little more careful about making the Behringer choice next time.
connection is a little more delayed than I'd like but if you've got sound cancelling headphones I can imagine they'd be fine all in all.Everything else has been easy to work out with a little google fu and to be honest for the price point compared to some of the competition and other options, this compares quite well in the opinion of a humble beginner who may or may not understand what he's doing at all XDso take my thoughts with a grain of salt.
Pros: Compact, Easy To UseCons: Limitations With Win7Other thoughts: compact and pretty much plug-n-play. I'm running Windows 7 Pro and found out that I'm not able to listen to my guitar plugged into the unit AND the audio on my laptop. This is a limitation to me, as I purchased this interface for the purpose of being able to play along with my online guitar lessons. I have to add that I noticed this when using the ASIO drivers (ASIO4ALL). I attempted to test another one of the built in Windows drivers but the latency is just unacceptable. I haven't tried this with any other version of Windows (eg: XP) to see if this is still the case. Just something to mention. Again, it's compact with it's tiny footprint, which is great for mobilility. Personally, even at a low price of under $30, i wouldn't have invested in this unit knowing what i know now. And returning the unit just isn't worth my time and effort.
