Having had this dishwasher for a few months there are noticeable build differences which I guess keeps the product at a fair price WITHOUT compromising on function. For example the spinning arm that squirts out the water is plastic whereas metal would only bump up the price and provide no better functonality. I like the fact it was not mass sproduced in China because Turkey has a reasonable manufacturing reputation, time will tell. The dishwasher is full of features and I really do like the different widths of the plate frame holders that allow for different depths of plates because of rounded edges and different sized bowls. Occasionally I find the washing tablet in the utensil bucket but I simply move the bucket to the left or right of the tablet bay. The dishwasher has all of the essential features needed that are provided by top end dishwasher brands but is at a fraction of the price. It has a large variety of settings to cater for all needs and it is very easy to run. I can't really fault it. We've owned it for a year and no problems at all whereas our Bosch despite being a good dishwasher and one of the top models in the range required a couple of of call outs under warranty even. Also it is made in Europe which seems a rarity these days. One last thing is a 10 year parts only Manufacturers warranty. Love it/ recommend it 100%

Good for the price - very quiet!
10 November 2022

Our Asko dishwasher broke down after owning it for 7 years. We wanted a quiet machine with as much room as possible and for a reasonable price. We are loving the dishwasher! Dishes are sparkling Soooooooo quiet. We are in an open plan home and can’t hear it at all. Keep thinking it’s not on! You do lose room in top rack due to cutlery drawer, so hear that in mind if you only use really tall glasses. Limits usability It resets to programme 1 each time it restarts. We’d prefer it to stay on last setting (P2)) as that’s our favourite. But if you want a dishwasher that’s not overpriced, cleans well and is quiet and you are ok with the cutlery drawer, then I’d recommend buying this

Good, but not as great
11 November 2022

I had the 14 place setting Beko in my previous home which was 5 stars, great dishwasher, and in my new home I have bought the more expensive 16 place setting one and wish I'd bought another 14 place one instead. The small silver cutlery container and the upper cutlery tray are both useless in my opinion. I don't and won't use the silver cutlery container and after some effort managed to remove the upper cutlery tray as with it in place there was no room for normal drinking glass, they were too tall for the space and if I lowered the top rack down, then there was not enough height on the lower rack for dinner plates or large pots. These extra 'gadgets' are a waste of money in my opinion and hinder the operation of the dishwasher. However, the dishwasher washes extremely well, is very, very quiet, the same as the 14 place one. Would definitely buy another Beko, just wouldn't waste money on the useless gadgets of the more expensive model.

Great performance
22 October 2022

Washes dishes extremely well. Over the few months I've used it now, only a few items have needed a rewash, either a single piece of cutlery in the cutlery drawer or a stubborn dirty casserole. The program panel is a minor nuisance. Buttons with icons for the programs would be easier than to cycle through programs P1-P8 and having to read the program labels in the lid. The wash programs are plentiful, from varying intensive to quick/half loads. The fold-down tines, height adjustable upper tray + cutlery basket are great. Probably not so great if often washing wine glasses, but the cutlery basket is easily removed to gain full height in the washer if needed. For a family of 5, this does the job

I am Delighted
28 March 2023

I recently purchased the Beko BDF1620W dishwasher after years of using a much more expensive brand. I am delighted with the dishwasher. I mostly use cycle 5 which takes just 58 minutes. This is much quicker than my previous dishwasher and everything comes out clean and mostly dry. Some plastic containers are still a bit wet on this cycle, but dry well on the much longer cycle 6. I consider this machine great value for money and would not hesitate to recommend it. I particularly like that it has both a cutlery tray and a basket. The tray is excellent for larger utensils. The timer which counts down, also allows me to know the time left before the cycle is complete. The extended 5 year warranty, is much longer than any other brand I looked at, before purchase.

Performance, looks and value

We selected this Beko to replace another B brand dishwasher that failed after 10 years. The Beko stood out with its available wash programs, functions and adjustable wash racks matching more expensive brands. The upper cutlery tray is excellent as the cutlery items are kept apart so we no longer have stains where items contacted each other. The finish on the door is smart and understated and looks great. Wash performance is excellent using the auto program, so far everything has come out perfectly clean, shiny and dry. There is only one thing that I would like changed and that is when you power on the machine it should default to the last program used, it defaults to program 1. Not a big deal as we use program 2 just 1 key press. Beko are confident in their machine ... MoreWe selected this Beko to replace another B brand dishwasher that failed after 10 years. Our dishwasher was 13 years old, but needed replacing once we had updated our kitchen. We did a lot of research, checking out reviews as well as pricing and after sales service. This Beko Dishwasher came up tops. The stainless steel colour blends in well with our other kitchen appliances. It is extremely quiet, so much that I have to check I have actually turned it on. We use Fairy Dishwashing tablets, and Finish Rinse Aid, and the dishes come out spotless. Love that it still has a cutlery basket, which makes it easier to unload - taking the basket to the cutlery drawer. There is an added bonus of the top pull out tray for large utensils, and also plastic lids. 8 years ago I was hesitant at first to buy a brand I had never heard of. However, the Beko dishwasher price then was better than its competitors, and the warranty longer than all the other brands, and that tells me that Beko is confident in the quality of their products. And so they should be! This is still how I feel today, having since bought a Beko washing machine for my large family (4 kids and 2 adults) and having never experienced a single fault with either appliance, and we use these every day, these things have taken a hammering and they NEVER fail to perform.
