Sander worked ok, battery life was average. Within about 6 months of use the sander no longer works as connection between sander and battery doesnt hold. Was only used for small scale home reno. The sander works for about 3 seconds then stops even with fully charged battery. Will return under warranty. Wouldnt buy again.

Had this for a couple weeks now and put it through its paces. Goes through batteries pretty quick but I have a few so no big deal there. Runs as good as my plug in one so thats retired now.
Very happy with how this works though it does chew through the batteries. Luckily I have four so had some back up.
I purchased to sand a 150cmx80cm ourdoor table top. I had two lithium 18V batteries from another purchase so thought I would be okay. Well I was wrong. Fully charged batteries only last 10 minutes and then take over 2 hours to charge. In frustration I went and purchased a 230V sander so I could complete the job. Absolutely useless for any practical job.
Used this for nearly a day now. On/Off switch seems a bit dodgy. Works well but battery life sucks! My 1.5AH gets nearly 15 minutes, the 2AH can make 20 minutes - I'm on my second charge cycle and expect 2 to go. Wanted the 240v model but needed a cheap orbital right away and luckily had a B&D drill for a second battery. Only good for very small jobs - larger jobs will take a couple of days (or more). Wish I spent the same $ on a different 240v brand
Great sander I use it for polishing my car by changing the pads works well but would recommend to get a 5amp battery for longer usage.
very handy little sander. it does go through the batterys very quickly when sanding large areas. so if you have a few batterys you will be ok. but if you only have the one, you might find that to be quite annoying. I found it very usefull doing small jobsaround the house.
Sander worked ok but sanding disk supplied didn't last long on custom wood, only lightly sanded 6 small pieces before wearing out...
