I've been using this baking soda for various things. Firstly, I make my on toothpaste with coconut oil, tumeric powder and a little baking soda. My mouth and teeth feel very clean afterwards.I also add this to apple cider vinegar in a glass of water as a drink sometimes to alkalize my body. In addition, this also makes a nice facial scrub with a little bit manuka honey to benefit my skin. The fact that this is aluminum free as opposed to so other brands is what makes me order the Bob's Red Mill brand.

I recently discovered that Arm & Hammer has toxic chemicals in their baking soda, and I was horrified. I went in search of a cleaner baking soda to use in baking and a detox bath. I discovered Bob's Red Mill makes one with clean quality ingredients. I will be ordering me as I am starting to do more detox baths. I mix 1 cup of epsom salts and 1 cup of Bob's red mill baking soda into a tub of hot water and soak till the water is no longer comfortably warm. the Epsom salts pull out the toxins from your body, and the baking soda neutralizes the toxins. Definitely get this one if you don't want chemicals in your baking soda!

The size of the bag is small but I know the amount will last me for months to come if will be using only one spoon when needed. I bought this one to use it for my hair exfoliating scrub, as I have an oily hair (once every 1 or 2 weeks.. it depends).
