Bob's Red Mill Coconut Flour - Organic 453g

I bought three different coconut flours from Thrive. I bought Bob's Red Mill, Let's Do Organic, and Coconut Secret. Today I baked three batches of cookies to compare the three different flours. Coconut Secret and Bob's Red Mill were both white with a brownish tint. Let's Do Organic was more pure white. All had similar smells, but Coconut Secret had the strongest coconut smell and perhaps also the most coconut flavor as well. As far as the cookies go they all baked well and in about the exact same time. Taste wise they were similar. My favorite was between Coconut Secret and Bob's Red Mill. Let's Do Organic wasn't bad by any means but I would personally put in in 3rd place and have it be a tie between Coconut Secret and Bob's Red Mill. The choice between those two would come down to whether you preferred the stronger flavor of Coconut Secret or cake like texture of Bob's Red Mill. Overall though I enjoyed all three enough to not be disappointed in any of them. The recipe I used was for the chocolate chip cookies on Keto Connect's website. They have a almond flour and coconut flour version of the recipe.

The quality of this flour is the best compared to the other brands that I used. It's really super fine. I also like that the coconut taste is not that strong and best for baking. I tried baking my chocolate cake recipe and it's better than before. Thanks to iherb for affordable prices.

Coconut flour is so versatile and fun to use in recipes. I make a savory pumpkin bread with coconut flour every week as one of my staple foods. This Bob's Red Mill flour is (to be expected) exceptional fine quality. The flour itself just smells soooo good. If you've never experimented with coconut flour, I absolutely recommend this one!
