Great French press! Love the look and it’s durable. It just pours out extremely slow and you have to watch how full you fill it with water as the filter may not filter all grounds out. But overall, great buy.

It's a French press. You can easily brew great coffee with great mouth feel in it, using the James Hoffman ultimate french press technique. I have travelled with it in my checked luggage, and it survived. It is a nice affordable way to make good coffee!

The coffee doesn't stay hot as it's plastic. It's only 19.99 so it's not a lot of money but hard to call it sustainable since it's going in the trash...and I used to like Bodum products.

Definitely not worth $19.99. Aside from the material being some form of plastic, the white print you see in the images is not* a sticker and is not removable. In addition to these two flaws, the spout mechanism is faulty. To put simply - heat is not well maintained within the carafe and the coffee doesn't pour out smooth - I returned it.
Horrible. Cannot believe Bodum would make a product so terrible. I didn’t know this was plastic, the all black design is awful you cannot see the coffee at all, the pour is a joke, and the actual carafe holds no heat.
Have used Bodum presses for years and have never had one work as poorly as this one. Picked this up and thought incorrectly the black was just a label - no. Impossible to see how much coffee you have left. Also, the mesh press does not catch the grinds AND you can't press it all the way down so you are wasting coffee at the bottom. Lastly, the spout for pouring is absolutely untenable. It dribbles at best.
This thing is TERRIBLE. Such a waste of money. Avoid at all cost. Doesn’t hold the coffee grinds in the press and didn’t know it was plastic! It’s headed for the trash or as an emergency press/camp press
Hard to tell it’s all plastic, not something I would want to be using every day and it’s not very easy to use. The cap is annoying. I returned it. Don’t waste your money.
These are some extreme opinions. For me completely adequate. For $20, it's great. Because of the low stars I thought maybe it would be fragile or something but I've had it for a long time and it does what it's supposed to do. I like it.
I wish I'd seen the other review before I bought this in store. The carafe retains no heat so you will be drinking lukewarm coffee at best. Also, the spout's design is defective making it difficult to pour out the coffee easily. I wish I could return it but I've already used it so it apparently doesn't fall under Target's return policy.
