Bormioli Rocco Fido Jar, 1.5L

Spot on. Good size, good quality and reasonable priced in comparison with other similar products. Happy with these storage jars and in use immediately.

Airtight Storage

These sealed jars are the best for storing/preserving dry foods or other items (I use them for parakeet food, as well as pastas, and other dry goods!). I have many sizes, and use every one of them every day. They bare durable, and totally reliable for food storage, and of course, I can see how much of each item I have when I'm choosing recipes. These are a staple in my kitchen!

Excellent storage jars

Extremely pleased. Perfect size for my countertop - keeping rice and lentils and other grains visible so we eat them. All 6 glass jars came well wrapped, and I love that they are minimalist, no big logos all over the glass (I'm looking at you ball). Also, slightly square for maximal storage space. Might just use these for all my pantry needs. Also, airtight lid! The manufacturer does not recommend putting the lids/metal parts in the dishwasher so minus one star for ease of cleaning. Im anticipating needing to deep clean the lids so they work perfectly for my use.

Good aize

Great size to hold homemade broth and soup. I have put mine in the freezer after it cools down. I do put Saran Wrap over the covering before closing. Helps to keep ice from forming. Needs to be cool I hand wash. Don’t know about dishwasher. Stays airtight.

Loving the Bormioli Rocco Fido Jar Herm 1.0L

I am loving the Bormioli Rocco Fido Jar Herm 1.0L. I initially wanted the 2.0L jar but they were not in stock. As it turns out the 1.0L jar is perfect. My pickled beetroot looks great in one jar and my fresh ginger and honey concoction looks just as good in the other. Great size, shape and look and great seal. Will purchase more.

Multple use and well made !

Great hermetic seal jars. Seal well. Nice thick glass. All around great jars that also compliment your kitchen , pantry or any room you choose to use them .

Perfect size, beautiful and good quality

This jar seems to be the perfect storage container. - Looks beautiful, - is air-tight, - it's all glass (the stainless steel doesn't touch the contents, easy to clean and is see-through), - it has a wide-mouth so it's easy to clean and get to your ingredients, - it's not too small so holds a decent amount and not too large so you can hold it with one hand easily and put it on smaller fridge shelves. - it's square in shape so sits next to other fidos well I hope kitchen warehouse will sell replacement wire bails one day as I'm sure one day they will need replacing and I won't know where to get one without having to replace the whole jar.

Wheres the quality control!

I have probably 10 around the house. I have LOVED these jars in multiple sizes for years. I just bought 2 more today and they dont close. The metal hardware is on upside down and backwards! And i have to either 1. return (a 30min drive one way) or 2. Pray it does break and try to fix it myself

Wonderful jars

This is a great size for pantry storage. In fact I have these jars in a range of sizes and am gradually replacing all my plastic. The contents of these jars stay fresh for an extended period due to the excellent seals. I find them particularly good for storing nuts. The square shape is perfect for fitting on pantry shelves also.

functional. beautiful. well made.

purchased 3 to hold sourdough starters, and they ably, beautifully perform. i haven’t tried the rubber seals on these specific products, but prior excellent experience with Bormioli products and seals led me to this item.i will note that they say the seals are “single use.” i have used Bormioli jars with seals for various food uses for years without failure, but would carefully watch the seals (the same as i would with Ball products) if i were ever to use these for canning.these puppies do a great job with snacks, staples, pastas...and now with sourdough starters!
