This is simply the best oven that I have used. Not only that but it is very versatile, there are an absolute array of cooking methods that can be deployed at the simple turn of a dial. Pizza, cake, yoghurt, lasagne, chips, cookies...whatever you can think to put in the oven, this oven will do it with ease. With the smart timer and auto off function timer that it has, it makes life so much simpler and easier. A real set it and forget it product! In no time at all once the dials are turned, the oven is preheated and ready to do whatever you need it to do!

We have this oven for about three years, and it is still delivering consistent and quite accurate heat, baking everything - including my 1st soufflés - to perfection. One can feel the build is of sound quality and good materials, and the self-cleaning function works amazing. The buttons are solid and doesn't wear out, and the glass door is thick, and you can touch the outside without burning a hand. Highly recommended, always!

A great all round oven with plenty of features - many which I dont use, but many that I now find useful. A lot of settings - a cheat sheet for next to the stove would have been useful as often I am unsure of what setting to use for a specific application. Some are a little overkill (pizza function hasn't worked yet for me). Great oven - recommended - and a great price on a Makro special!

What I love most about this oven is the rapid preheating ability. Preheats very quickly, roasts evenly and the skin is crispy. I also love the steam function which produces super moist meats. With so many functions to choose from it'll take me a while to get through all of them. For now I am loving how efficient it is and looks gorgeous too.

The drawback is the ensuing mess that needs to be cleaned and that's where the Series 6 or 8 would be a better option with the self-cleaning function, at a price. The fast heating function works, Fast. Heat distribution is even and baking results excel, even on multiple shelves at the same time. One issue is creeping up and that is a fan noise if I use the oven for extended cooking times. We have purchased a new oven by the end of 2018, just after a year the back plate of the oven was completely rusty. They came and replaced the back plate. After 2 years the rust is there again and the plate fell the screws are so rusty that they can't even hold the back plate anymore. The technician came and to my surprice he said that the problem was out of warranty when actually we should have 5 years warranty because we bougth more than 5 products from Bosch. I do not recomend Bosch at all. Very bad quality.
The interior of the oven is a lot larger than I expected! This is great, as I like to bake in bulk. It also fits my cast iron pots with ease. The first thing I cooked in the oven was a simple cauliflower and tahini casserole. It was very easy to pick a setting and use the timer. The dish came out perfect. Golden on top, and moist in the middle. Looking forward to using the steam functionality for bread making. I like that it's a tray inside the oven rather than a compartment. Much easier to clean and remove.
A nice oven, good enough for my needs anyway........BUT why is it impossible to be able to get the manual for this oven in English? You can find on the website installation instructions which are a bit redundant when the oven's installed anyway, but there's nothing there whereby you can download a User Manual in English or any other language come to that, why? I need one, I only have it in French, but in English would be more than helpful when one is trying to get used to a new oven and understand it's operations.
The oven itself is alright. I was expecting a more comprehensive steam oven for steaming food, but this one merely has some water inside for baking when the steam function is on. The oven didn't fit into my pantry so carpentry work is required. Had to wait a very long time for appliances online and Wining to install. The process is still not complete as there is a missing plate to be added after the cupboard had been trimmed. The whole modification work and installation process had been more complicated than expected.
the oven is excellent with the variety of applications. particularly like the pizza function. works very well. i just have to practice with the fan or no-fan as the previous oven i had was automatically fan on. one small problem i have - but could be just me - the knobs showing the different functions and temps i would like there to be a black mark on the front to make it easier to see what is selected.
