Bosch 90cm Canopy Rangehood - DWB97LM50A

My kids comment all the time about how quiet this rangehood is, which is a bonus since it's installed in an open plan kitchen-living area. I don't think we realised just how noisy the old one had been. It's streamlined and looks smart (again in open plan this is a consideration) and the touch screen to change the settings is beautifully sensitive, just a light touch and fan and light are one. Three grill vents, too, make a huge difference to the operation. It's only been a few months, but this rangehood ticks all the boxes.

I have contacted Bosch in at least 3 phone calls and they did not return my call. Contracted repairman did not know why it was not extracting steam. Cooker hood even at highest setting does not extract steam from even one simmering pot. Evidence of this is the steam condensing from my Bosch Induction cooktop onto splashback and dripping down onto the cooktop. My installer checked it. The exhaust pipe was clear & straight & measures 135mm. So he changed to a larger pipe of 150mm, but it made no difference! My former rangehood was half the price and worked efficiently. Shocking performance from a good company.

I knew we wanted German quality. This rangehood came recommended from our local rangehood installer, we had it ducted. The price just blew us away, such a bargain. It was delivered the next day, the delivery experience was fantastic, i loved the clear communication on when they were coming etc, no sitting at home for a full day having to be available. I would never purchase anywhere else again to be honest.The rangehood is so quiet, i couldn't even tell it was on. The LED lights look so elegant, it's a real beauty and stands out in our kitchen.
