This canopy looks good, has easy to remove and clean filters, is well-insulated around its fan so is nice and quiet compared to older canopy hoods, and the glass touch panel is easy to keep clean. It sucks well, especially on boost mode, and the LED lighting casts a decent amount of light over the cook hob and backsplash area. Being made in Germany by a reputable German company, I have confidence that it is of robust build and will last many years, and that should it need servicing, Bosch will respond satisfactorily. We had our old range hood (an Italian generic brand) for almost 20 years, to are hoping this one lasts a good couple of decades. It has WiFi to communicate with a Bosch induction hob (if one has one) or via an app on one's smart phone. Pretty straight forward to install with a template provide on where to drill mounting holes. This version has home connect which can be connected to Google for voice commands.

Controls are well designed and placed and the build quality is excellent.SERVICE: Had some issues with some scratches on the top cover, contacted appliances online, was asked to send the photos, replaced promptly. Had our Bosch Rangehood for 2 months now.Works OK... though not as good as our old one.Sadly, we have to try many mnay times before the lights turn off.Should never have bought a touch panel moidel.Good old fashioned buttons ftw.
Integrated range hood is fantastic. One less thing to think about when cooking. Turns on when cooking starts, adjusts fan speed automatically and shuts off when air is clear. A really clever and useful range hood.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet, strong exhust well priced. Use timer function daily to keep exhust on for extra 5 minutes. Boost function great for stirfry and other strong smells. Easy to clean filters. Dont have the compatible cooktop so can't review wifi function.

Finally we decided on this model because it meets our expectations, such as the price is reasonable, the noice level and the exhaust suction are good when compared to other models we were looking at. We believe we have a good choice.
We're very happy with our new rangehood because it has a good range of extraction strengths to choose from depending on the amount of cooking vapour being produced; the fan engine noise is well-insulated and quite bearable; the build quality seems to be very good; we were happy that this product was built in Germany; the LED lights cast a good amount of light over our cook hob and the splashback area; and the glass control panel is easy to keep clean.The vapour and grease filters are easy to open and remove for cleaning, and the design of the rangehood is very attractive.I would recommend this product based on our experience to date.
Looks good and isn't too noisy, although I am yet to finish setting it up whilst I await the problems to be fixed.For some reason, the lights go on by themselves - most mornings. First repair has not worked.Secondly, the Home-Connect is NOT available in New Zealand, and worse the 'direct connection' to the hob will not connect.Local technicians are not conversant with this model.
