The hood is excellent and quick to install after removing an existing hood.My only criticism is that the stainless steel flue covers cater only for a maximum ceiling height of 2.4m. Our ceiling is 2.7m and the installer had to adapt the previous cover to extend the full height. This resulted in a bit of a bodgie job.The specifications sheet does show this but it's easy to miss as it involves adding up the various heights above cook top and range hood height and flue heights.

I expected better build quality from Bosch. The corners of the range hood look dented and the buttons for the fan and light look unfinished. It's as though they were an after thought. The fan itself is extremely loud. Very disappointed.

It's hard to find 90cm canopy in this price range, with that in mind this is a great unit. It was not wide enough for us so I had to mount it on a panel against the wall, and the duct cover was not long enough to reach the ceiling. I was able to get some custom metal bent and fit it myself and it looks great, but it would have cost about 5-10 times more if the builder had done it. The range itself works great, good suction and the lighting is solid. My only complaint is the controls which have 3 modes, but each is operated by it's own physical toggle switch meaning you have to turn off "1" in order to turn on "3" which makes no sense.
I looked at a number of different makes of rangehoods to replace our 10 Yr old broken one. I researched a number of names and models and the Bosch came up with great reviews and The good Guys had the best price and installers
We’ve been using this regularly for about 6 months now. It’s 3 fan speeds are great and the noise level is pretty low on the first 2 speeds (we hardly need to use the highest speed). It’s our second Bosch rangehood in two separate homes. Highly recommend
As a replacement for an existing 90cm rangehood, this was a super easy installation. The bulbs are also LED in this, so they are brighter than older rangehoods and should last for the life of the hood.
We upgraded to a new range hood for our kitchen Reno. The range hood came very well packaged. It looks great in the new kitchen. Very easy to use and clean. The motor is very powerful and really gets the hot steam and heat out of the kitchen. We had to buy a an exhaust kit for the installation so the heat can be vented out of the building. Very helpful salesman I spoke to on the phone. 100% happy with the whole experience.
We had a very noisy Rangehood and decided to try this Bosch Rangehood. We are very happy with how quiet it is. The price was very good as well. Happy Customers.
no difference or extra value for the priceIts not the right design as there will easily (and always) be a "small gap" between the neck and the main body.Very noisy on 2nd and 3rd fan speeds
