This is the first time I am using the ipl and am amazed. I have quite thick black hair in my legs which grows back faster after waxing. I was a bit hesitant to use ipl initially but some how gained confidence and went for it, that's the best decision I took. It is painless. Has two caps one for larger area and one for I would call sensitive areas. I did feel a bit sensitive underarms and bikini lines initially. My hair growth in leg has reduced a lot and hair is much thinner now but the bikini line I don't see much difference in the regrowth, might take a little longer. The razor is a nice addition as can use this to shave prior to use, being a non shaver this was helpful. It arrived in great time as I had a holiday coming up so this was great to use prior to so I didn't get nasty stubble rash. The IPL itself is very sturdy and so easy to use, the fact there are 2 heads means you can use the one for the area of the body you need, smaller for face and larger for legs etc. For use, the head needs to be in contact with the skin at both ends before it will pulse, light is omitted so best not to stare at it but not too bright. The pain is minimal and there are different strengths so can work your way up if you are unsure how you will react. ... I treated my upper lip and chin using the sensitive button, just felt a warmth and didn’t have any redness or sensitivity. I used on my underarms and did feel a few prickly sensations but not painful. Legs were the easiest to treat with the largest head and a gliding movement with continuous flashes. Now it’s ready to use, you just need to make sure the two led lights are flat onto your skin and then you press the button.
