I love this hand-held version of the P—Touch Labeler from Brother! Its easy to assemble. The battery life is long lasting. I really enjoy the fact that it can fit in my back pocket while I’m walking around labeling the shelves in our storage room at work. Think I prefer this model over the bigger model they offer simply because it produces the same quality of work with a device that’s half the size!

This does exactly what you want from an handheld no nonsense label printer. Produces high quality labels and easy to use. It just works. My only possible issue is that the screen has no backlight and if as is likely when I'm working in low light condiitions it might prove a challange to see the display.I've used this type of Brother printer before and I would recommend always buying the pucka labels; clones just don't cut it.

Great printer and makes very good neat laminated labels.a few things you should know.It wastes a lot of your label tape, because it makes 2 blank sections either side of the words you typed, around 5.5cm per label wasted. over a full tape you will probably throw half in the bin? i dont know if other printers dont do this? Not really an issue for me because i dont print lots of labels, if you do then this might not be the best item for you. Also it needs 6x AAA batteries, the printer doesnt come with any, so make sure you purchase some.On the plus side its well built, easy to use and prints very good labelsIt can print Normal, Bold, italic and outlined text with or without shadows.symbols, arrows and also useful symbols for electricians etc.It can print ... MoreGreat printer and makes very good neat laminated labels.a few things you should know.It wastes a lot of your label tape, because it makes 2 blank sections either side of the words you typed, around 5.5cm per label wasted. over a full tape you will probably throw half in the bin? i dont know if other printers dont do this? Not really an issue for me because i dont print lots of labels, if you do then this might not be the best item for you. Also it needs 6x AAA batteries, the printer doesnt come with any, so make sure you purchase some.On the plus side its well built, easy to use and prints very good labelsIt can print Normal, Bold, italic and outlined text with or without shadows.symbols, arrows and also useful symbols for electricians etc.It can print normal straight labels or tag type for wrapping round cables3 font sizes (Small, Medium and Large) and of course upper and lower case letters.Easy to install new label tapes, back comes of easily and pop it straight in, no other set up needed.Ive given it 4 stars, would have been 5 but for the tape it wastes

Brilliant Label Machine
1 May 2020

I have been looking for a simple label printer for a few weeks for simple things around the house and also for labelling plugs and cables. This printer is brilliant, especially for cables.Although it looks very similar to the black version this one is more aimed at cabling as the 5 shortcut keys are for different types of labels and formatting is via a menu, whereas the black versions shortcut buttons are for formatting. The ability to chain print and not waste any label is great, as well as the different types of cable wraps. There are more expensive printers out there with more functions but for the price I really can't complain and I'm really pleased with the purchase.

Excellent tool for Pro and Home Joe
9 November 2020

I used this to label the electrical panels in our new home build.Broke the man code and read some directions on font size and print options. The yellow tape with black letters really stand out and are a good visual Que for identifying circuits.Would recommend this tool to enhance family safety by making clear labels for your electrical panel. Do not rely on sharpies or poor penmanship to properly identify circuits. This is one area not to take short cuts.Delivery was fast and the price was perfect, after a two search this was the best bargain.

This is a great portable "industrial" label maker that produces professionally looking labels. I often install computer and A/V networks. This label maker is perfect for labeling face plates and in the communications rack. It is also great for labeling special cables for computers, audio and video. It is also especially useful to label parts storage cabinets to quickly find which of the 42 drawers contains your Forstner bits. In fact, this label maker works so well that two of my clients decided to purchase one for their own offices. The label maker is sturdy, and it can be used in a dusty environment since the keypad is sealed. Personally, I prefer this model with my own NiMH batteries over the more expensive model with Li-ion rechargeable batteries. Intuitive out of the box

This was a 'treat' for myself. It was for a basic labelling system for my small workshop to help to organise the contents. I previously used simple stickers and hand wrote them out. This machine does away with that and produces neat, readable text in a small, neater, space. I've no issues with any aspect of it it so far. It produces the labels quickly and cleanly (and silently if that's a requirement) and the printing quality has good contrast, so easily readable. There is a basic menu of pre-loaded printing sizes and styles, and a menu for setting parameters for sizes etc. There's also a set of basic characters - punctuation, bullets, mathematical symbols, currencies, electrical and datacom symbols - and a small selection of graphics for common uses. It can print smaller on two lines if required. It's fairly easy to use straight out of the box as the menu etc. is quite intuitive, especially if you're familiar with a PC or tablet etc. There's a leaflet with further instructions and functions if needed. All in all, it provides a good set of basics for most printing purposes and that's all I needed. I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability and reliability but judging from other reviews I've read, this doesn't appear to be an issue.

Soild clear printer.

The instructions are the usual international picture type which takes a bit of understanding. Fortunately you can tinker about with it and get it working. It is worth the effort as the resulting labels are pin sharp, clear and take a good effort to damage them. The machine is very versitile and has a good selection of standard symbols. I did not count them but it looks like you get every thing on the standard qwerty PC keyboard plus. It is well built and robust. I have no problem reccomending this as a good buy.

(987 reviews)

The Brother PT-E110 is a mobile labelling machine that offers various functions for simple creation of commonly used label types, e.g. for cables or connectors. It is ideal as an entry-level device for the electrical trade and installations in telecommunications and data communications. The PT-E110 offers the practical feature of a QWERTZ keyboard familiar from PCs, with a separate numeric keypad. TZe tapes in widths of 3.5 - 12 mm can be used in the device, for example as a flexible tape to label cables or an extra-strong adhesive variant. The laminated TZe labels are weatherproof and smudge and scratch resistant and so are also suitable for outdoor labels.
