We are novices when it comes to binoculars, so the choices can feel overwhelming. The quick "binocular finder" function on the website helped me easily choose this pair. We are very happy with them! We have a family of Great Horned Owls nesting in the tree above our home, and now we can clearly see them staring lasers into us with their beautiful but intimidating eyeballs. :)

Quite an extraordinary binocular. We have an older model for the last 15 years and that one is so good, we bought this new one based on that experience. This new binocular is also a bit lighter and when hangs around your neck, it does not seem to hurt. Right out of the box, it focused extremely well. It’s adequate for any bird or wild animal viewing. There’s no need to compare with other companies’ models and get confused and spend more money, hoping to buy a good one. This 8 x 42 is all you ever need!

In searching for good all around binocular I had a narrowed my decision to go with and 8x42 to try to optimize field of view with magnification. I wanted the lenses to be fully coated, fog resistant, water resistant and easy to focus and carry. This unit seemed to fit the bill and it has, we are very happy with our choice. Optics are clear and bright, with adequate focal length. No blur, no shake, just clean, clear and bright.

I'm an amateur astronomer, and have owned at least a dozen binoculars over the years to enjoy the night sky. I find these Bushnell Prime 8x42 roof prisim binoculars especially suited for this because of the exceptionally long eye relief that enables me easily see the ENTIRE field of view (about 7 degrees I measured) without removing my glasses. This is not the case for the vast majority of binoculars. This wide field makes for wonderful star observing. In addition, sharp optics and easily adjustable focus for each eye makes this binoc especially comfortable to use over an entire evening.
I have had a pair of Bushnell binocs for more than 45 years. This is my second pair. Hardest thing about using them is attaching the shoulder strap. Great product. I keep them near my picture window and use them almost every day but also take them in the field several times a month.
I bought the binoculars to view birds and squirrels visiting my feeders. They are good for that....a little heavier than I intended but my fault for not looking at the specifications which were clearly stated on the product specs when ordering. Good quality for the price! Very happy with the adjust-ability and focusing ease.

I’m working from home during the pandemic. I’ve put my desk next to the big picture window with a perfect view of our birdfeeder. One I got my new binoculars adjusted and focused, I pretty much stopped doing work and spendt way too much time looking at the birds and squirrels. I saw a cardinal couple kiss! I love these.
Very happy with purchase. All adjustments smooth and solid. Checked all boxes on function features and feel to be of excellent quality. A little padding would have been welcomed in carry case. Don't think these bins can be beat in this price range. Looking forward to many years of use.
Not too big. Not too small. Not too heavv. Not too light, This is it. This is the standard. This is all that you need. Its all the evidence you need that you don't have to spend a lot of money for a pair of binoculars that are going to last you a lifetime. Really happy with my $150 purchase.
