I have used these 2019 Strata Plus 14 piece set for 3 years starting as a beginner, and my game has improved with each year I play: on 9 holes from an over 60 score to anywhere from 44-54. I am delighted to recommend these clubs to any gal starting out. I may move on to a club fitting, at this point, but I am very happy with my play and the selection of clubs in this set. The price point is fabulous for the degree of play and accuracy I have received. You will not drop the ball on the greens with the spin accuracy of the pros, but you will be very happy with this selection.

These clubs are my first set. The golf pro at our club recommended a starter set so I ordered this one which came with the bag (which is really pretty!) a driver, 5,7,9 irons, a hybrid 5, a putter and a fairway wood. TGW.com's service was stellar. They arrived in perfect condition in two days. These clubs are wonderful! As a newcomer to the sport, I feel they have enhanced my learning experience. The grips are comfortable, the clubs are light, just the right size and flex. I have had the opportunity to play/practice frequently and very much enjoying using them. The bag is super light and the rain bonnet has come in handy this winter. I would highly recommend them.

Played about 8 rounds and some time at the range so far, just started golfing a couple months ago and got this so no longer had to rent clubs.Very happy with the irons and hybrid. The driver is fine too just a bit hollow sounding, I can see how beginners could break this but mine is fine so far. Love the hybrid, you can hit some real nice shots with it and sounds fantastic too. The putter I probably will replace but that's more personal preference, definitely notice it getting beat up in the bag though. I'm a new golfer, now that I've decided that I love the game I wanted to upgrade from my ancient hand-me-down clubs. These clubs are exactly what I needed, my game has definitely improved! The price was really good and the clubs arrived as scheduled and in good shape. These may not be the right clubs for a seasoned golfer, but for a beginner/casual player like me they are perfect!
Very nice set of clubs. Unfortunate the driver dented within the first couple of months (disappointing), but Callaway customer service is superb. They no longer carry the Strata line, so they sent me a replacement driver from their EPIC line of clubs. Fantastic, prompt and friendly service. The entire set, including the new EPIC driver is excellent for me as a novice golfer. Well-priced and great quality.
I bought this a little less then a year ago for my wife. She had used it countless times on the course and at various driving ranges. The irons are absolutely wonderful for her I even have fun with them from time to time the putter is very basic and was replaced with in a month the driver, wood and hybrids are decent if a beginner is playing with them. The forgiveness on the driver is not great but it's playable. But keeping in mind this is a starter set for under $500 it does the job she is upgrading as she sees fit but the irons alone are worth every penny
I'm 5'1' and was worried these may be a little too tall for me, but they work perfect! This set truly has everything you need and all of the clubs feel fantastic. I am a beginner and have only hit balls at the driving range using my partners clubs which have been too tall for me. He even says they are great clubs, highly recommend with this great price point!

I am very happy with my Strata Ultimate golf clubs. I am returning to golf after 20+ years and they are exactly what I need. They look very professional, are the correct length for me and came in a great light weight golf bag.The price of these clubs was very reasonable and the quality and look surpasses what I expected.Delivery was within days of ordering and that was over the Christmas period.I think these clubs will see me through many wonderful hours on the golf course.
