Best Comm System Ever

Installed in Sedici Strada 3 Primo. The helmet helped make things really simple with sunken areas for speakers and preinstalled Velcro for the speakers.The Packtalk Neo is a great comms/entertainment system. The hardware is solid and feels like it will stand the test of time. The speakers and mic setup is easy to understand and put together. The speakers from JBL sound great and have enough power to be heard over almost any outside noise. The wired mic for full face helmets is small, unobtrusive, and sensitive enough to pick up most normal voices. I would assume the boom mic to be similar.The control unit is simple and easy to use. Connectivity has also been simple and easy with no issues. All in all it's been the best helmet comm system I've ever used.

Better than most.

Only reason for not having 5 stars is bc it's still hard to hear at higher speeds. The JBL speakers are significantly better than what comes with the Sena($). The controls took some getting used to, but I figured it out quick enough to be comfortable changing songs/volume while riding. I haven't used the communication function yet, but I'm sure it's at least decent if not better than Sena.

Cardo Packtalk Neo Intercom

So far so good. Alot cleared than others I've used. Connects back if you lose range. A it fiddly to add another group, to ride with others (I'm sure it's a knack/practice). Was great to go put with 2 otver friends, once connected and have 3 way chats when needed.As ever, range is probably a little less than stated.On the whole, impressed so far.

Don't like it

My mistake is I needed a basic headset to communicate with my passenger and to listen to music. That's all! This unit is loaded with many great features that I will never use, but that's not my problem. I want this to pair with my goldwing, something it doesn't do reliably. I want the simplicity of using CarPlay, because it's not a distraction, but to access all the features of this unit requires you to remember different combinations of button presses that I find very distracting- the last thing I need while riding. Revzilla has been good helping me in the past and I hope they'll help me with this. If it doesn't do what you want it to do, it isn't worth any price. It's also very big and prevents my trunk from closing.

Excellent headset

Bought a new helmet (C3 Pro) and decided to upgrade my headset. I had cheaper fodsports units and had no idea how bad they were until installing cardo. Audio, music sound is amazing. Cardo voice is iffy but I use Google voice for everything and works great for me. I do wish it had a single button for power on/off.

Great product!

After getting lost on some unfamiliar roads and having to stop 10 times to check my maps for where the heck I was, I was so ready to live the Caro life. I cant speak enough on how good this product is. So many different factions that make the riding experience sooo much better. My girl and I love listening to music together and being able to talk while we are riding. You won't regret this purchase! Even if you dont ride with anyone you can still listen to good quality music, make phone calls, set directions and have all voice command functions without ever looking at your phone.

Nice Clear sound and easy to use but wire hookup isn't optimal

I was not expecting the wires to have to be unplugged from the unit to charge it. I would have thought that they go into the base foundation and not the Neo unit. This leave the wires dangling and easy to get caught on anything while charging.The unit does look nice and easy to use. They are very clear and easy to connect too. But it feels like it could break the wires easily which I am a bit worried about.

Truly great com system

Voice commands work very well. Easy to install and a very clean look on my helmet. Phone calls are great my wife couldn't believe how clear it was when she called me while I was riding. And the music in my helmet sounds great. I recommend the pactalk neo to anyone who asked about it. Great product Cardo, and a must have for me.
