Owning 3 or more Cars at any time use a large of amount of Oil. When you look under the Bonnet, the cheapest thing there is the Oil. 6 Months is enough and then change it and the Filter. This is the first time ever purchased from Halfords. Previously available online, everywhere, delivered at a lesser price. Thankfully your price has now become more reasonable.

Pretty oily, quite thick, but not as thick as 10/40, and probably a little thicker than 0/30. Goes in a car which uses 5/30. Obviously 4 litres, when everyone knows the car takes 4.5 litres. Doesn’t taste great, but the car enjoys it so would buy again. I once tried without, but things went whirly pop. So better to use oil. Fully synthetic too, so less burning of dinosaurs, and a good carbon off set to now run a decat for full pops and bangs, to do loud burnies in the halfords car park on a pair of burger king trays this Sunday evening. Thanks Halfords!

I needed some oil for my CLS Mercedes which is about 17 years old, and I was not sure which oil to buy.I went on to Halfords website and put in my number plate and it immediately recommended a few options.I went for the best one as I feel that the car warrants the best as it is a very reliable vehicle, but there were cheaper options available.
I bought this recently at a great price. This is very good oil for the engine and offers extra protection to it. The oil was on offer at the time I needed it for a service so was a win win situation. I also compared prices of the oil with other retailers and Halfords were the cheapest! Also received excellent customer service at the same time and the click and collect service was fantastic definitely will be coming back to Halfords again!
Bought this along with a MAN OEM Oil Filter for an Audi A3 8P TDI. No complaints, runs really smooth and noticeable change in engine economy performance. If you can spare the money, buy AMSOIL from the official website (shipping to the UK is extremely pricey as it is a US based company but their oils outperform all others, including Castrol.Castrol is good enough however, suits performance vehicles (most German brands) and is definitely one of the best choices of oil from Halfords
I bought this for my Golf as it was recommended by Halfords for my car based on the registration number. Unfortunately it doesn't contain enough oil for a full oil change. My car needs 4.7 litres which left me short of oil to reach the correct level. The oil is great but the halfords website doesn't mention it is not the right amount.
I bought this product last month via click and collect. Great price. Got it in st9ck before it was due. Excellent performance. Made my long trip up North a treat. Job done.
Looks like weak tea. Tastes revolting - probably. Stops the engine of my expensive Audi from destroying itself. Put it in the right hole, et voila - engine lives another day. Is it any better than anything else? Well it's better than water, Coke or a single malt in your engine but I can't say if it does the job better than any other 5W-30 oil cos its the one Audi say I need and I believe them.....
Castrol oils, Well known proven reliable quality brand so trusted to look after the bits inside yer engines, but just ‘cos Halfords state it’s correct for your engine, don’t just take that as 100% guaranteed right! Older engines in different climates and especially if pushed hard a lot of the times you drive it or sit in heavy congested traffic, especially in the heat, then a slightly more tolerant thicker oil might be more applicable, especially if your motor is turbo enhanced, then 5W40 is maybe a better grade than 5W30! Although due to being slightly thicker it’s maybe gonna affect your mpg, but if you’re gonna drive spiritedly some or most of the time your behind that wheel, then you’ll hardly notice, but you might well notice that your oil level doesn’t ... MoreCastrol oils, Well known proven reliable quality brand so trusted to look after the bits inside yer engines, but just ‘cos Halfords state it’s correct for your engine, don’t just take that as 100% guaranteed right!
