Caudalie Vinotherapist Replenishing Vegan Body Butter 250 ml

A simple enough body moisturizer, although not a patch on Cerave or even good old Aveeno. It's a mixture of several vegetable and carrier oils with a few other ingredients, most notably Shea Butter. It's perfumed, so if you're sensitive to fragrance, that's something to be aware of. The scent is like almonds, but a bit sweeter, however it isn't strong and stays very close to the skin. I can literally only smell it when it's in the tub or if I sniff my arm up close. As a moisturizer, I found it to be just adequate, nothing to write home about. It does leave a slightly oily sheen but not overly so like TBS body butters, just enough to give a subtle glow. I'd say it's definitely a step up in quality compared to TBS. Good lotion, terrible smell

Giving 2 stars because the effect of the product is very good. I've been using it a couple of weeks and I already see a difference in the skin on my legs. They look much nicer and smoother, and feel softer as well. The produ t does make a thick feeling on my legs that I can feel when I pull my skinny jeans on, so if you like a lotion that melts right into your skin this may not be for you. But once this product sinks in it feels great.Reduced my stars because unfortunately the smell is horrific. It smells so strongly of playdough. I did try the product in store and didn't feel this way. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if the other scents in the store masked how bad this one is. Great Product!

This Body Butter is amazing. It melts nicely into the skin and leaves it radiant. I bought it to go along with the very lightweight hyaluronic body lotion from Caudalie, I needed some thick moister for the cold weather and this body butter brought it. The almond scent is not for everyone, including me. BUT the smell does tend to wear off. I recommend this product, it may not have the best scent but it gets the job done.

I wanted to love this

going through infertility and knowing the importance of using clean products I was very curious about this product. I really love the brand and everything they stand for and there other products in their range that I really love but I found this particular product disappointing. the scent is nice, very subtle fragrance but I just find it a really odd consistency, my skin feels greasy like it isn't absorbing properly, even at the end of the day when I am getting ready for bed it still hasn't absorbed. my skin doesn't feel particularly soft or moisturised either. it feels more like an oil once you have massaged it in properly which does take some time to do. my fingers also stay greasy even after washing... and I'm leaving greasy fingerprints everywhere I go. this one ... Moregoing through infertility and knowing the importance of using clean products I was very curious about this product. Caudalie's Vegan Body Butter has greatly improved my overall skin's appearance and texture which was flaky, dry and wrinkled. The cream is quickly absorbed into my mature skin without leaving a greasy sticky feel. I apply the product as a night cream on my arms and legs and the hydration is long-lasting, effectively carrying into the next day. The butter feels creamy and supple on my skin and contains wonderful ingredients such as organic Sweet Almond, Desert Date and Grape Seed Oils, and Organic Shea Butter. Some reviews regarding it's smell have been negitive but I actually like the natural smell of almonds in this product. Oh So Smooth

I purchased the product because l wanted to try it but was waiting for the coldest months (winter) specifically. The cream is velvety and rich the product goes on very smooth one’s skin will feel moisturized or like many like to state hydrated. The fragrance is a nice light grape fragrance smells natural not chemically. Buyer be aware this is a very thick cream…it feels velvety, silky, smooth to the touch it melts so nicely in the skin deeply penetrating the skin with a nice shimmer. A light shimmer and fragrance on the skin nothing overpowering it is just right and suitable for any skin type and my skin is sensitive. It really works but definitely for the cold weather because the cream is heavy but does not sit on the skin. Ok. Enough. l will digress. It works.

Pills on skin - even hours later.

I’m so disappointed. My daughter bought this for me while in France because I wanted a body cream and I love that European products prohibit chemicals allowed in the US. But this cream just pills on the skin and never absorbs. No matter where I put it, even hours later if I rub that spot it pills and feels gross. I always have to shower it off. Did I just get a bad batch? I can’t be the only one this happens to. Really sad about it as I wanted to love this product line.

I normally have to put a generous amount of lotion on my skin every night, particularly my legs, or my skin will get itchy and keep me from getting a good nights sleep.When I first used this product, I noticed right away my skin absorbed it surprisingly quick which meant it didn’t take me forever to rub in and I loved that.
