My dad and I are addicted to this stuff! It’s the best, most flavorful chai tea I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried a lot). It’s caffeine free and also naturally sweet without any sugar! Whenever I let someone try it they always think I added sugar. I don’t know how they’re able to get it that sweet naturally but I LOVE it because I like my tea sweet. I also add milk sometimes to make a chai latte and I’ve also made it iced. It tastes super good any way it’s made. We drink this stuff literally every day! It has SO much flavor compared to most teas. I love Celestial - they make such amazing teas!

The pricing has gone up a little since last 5 years but nothing compared with other online platforms. IHerb sells the best price and best delivery for my area. I love the cinnamon flavour and the organic butter paper wrap on the inside which preserves the scent of cinnamon when opened. I quickly wrap back when taking out 1 tea bag to again keep others fresh. And the use - OMG, I use it with hot water let it sit for a minute or two then add milk to top it up like English breakfast tea with toast. Sometimes I prefer only with hot water and it tastes so satisfying that you don’t need any other ingredient to garnish. This is a non-caffeine herbal tea blend reminiscent of spicy chai. I use it two ways. I use it to make a non-caffeine version of chai that is truly delicious in its own right. It is very healthful for those who wish to avoid too much stimulating food and drinks like tea and coffee. The other way I use it is in the morning with a regular tea bag. This way I can make a spicy tea pick-me-up. I have to re-stock immediately. Celestial Seasonings does it again. Another great herbal tea/infusion.

I love the aromatic combination of spices that go into chai. Bengal Spice has all the spicy goodness of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves, but without the caffeine. It is so easy to prepare. Just add hot water and cover for maximum steeping. Add a dash of maple syrup and a splash of milk and instant comfort drink before bed. High quality spices that are as good as chai made from scratch. If you have ever been disappointed by teas marketed as chai but with weak flavor, rest assured this is NOT that. You are in for a delicious treat.
I've gone through 4 boxes of tea now from different vendors and there's something wrong with this batch of tea. It's like the cinnamon is completely missing or something. I called Celestial Seasonings and they are aware of complaints but I couldn't really get a clear answer on what they were doing about it. Certainly they haven't recalled the product, which they should really do. Anyway, hopefully this tea will be back to its usual standard soon. It's my favourite!
I agree with another recent reviewer that something has happened to this tea. Bengal Spice has been a favourite in my house for years. Recently (in the last several months) - every box I’ve purchased has tasted horrible. I don’t know if the recipe has changed or if there’s something wrong with certain batches - but every brew tastes sort of chemically, and well - kind of like dirty water. I haven’t noticed a change with any other tea other than this one. I hope whatever has happened gets fixed soon - I need this favourite back in my life!
