If you have a black car you MUST try this! Make sure the paint is clean and free of old wax. Build your shine coat by coat. One or two coats are not enough for any product to make one's vehicle look like the car in the ad! Roll up your sleeves and make sure the paint is clean and level FIRST. I have used around 10 bottles of this and my Lincoln MARK VIII has a shine that reflects 100% of anything beside it! It makes your car look like a black-chrome mirror. I highly recommend this to all who own a vehicle finished in black. I works well on midnight blue also.

I own a pro street 1965 mustang fastback just has it painted. bob who painted the car said lets try the new turtle wax. well we were not disappointed. Even though the car was just painted bob used the turtle wax wash and then the turtle wax black polish. And bob put tape in the middle of the trunk and polished one side it made a huge difference. Turtle wax has a great product made for black cars. It works so well I could not find it in the stores I had to go on turtle wax web site to get the black polish. when you can't find it on the store shelves you know its a winner. Thank you turtle wax for a great product.

This product might be very good for some usages, but did not work for my particular issue (and in all fairness maybe it was not meant for that). My black Lexus had a fender repainted before I bought the car and I don't think the paint job was very good (maybe a lack of clear coat). Now the white primer is showing through the black paint in some spots. I was hoping the pigment in this polish would cover over those spots but it does not. I have not tried it yet on other parts of the car to see how well it works on the original paint. In my case, I probably will need new paint to fix the problem with the fender.
