This is my favorite face moisturizer to use whenever my skin barrier is damaged. Weather that be from over exfoliating, irritation from using retinol / tretinoin, too many active ingredients in skincare, sunburns, etc.. it’s crucial to have something like this with no irritating active ingredients in it, so you can give your skin a break and let it heal. I also like that it doesn’t leave my face all shiny and oily looking, instead it leaves more of a soft matte finish which I just really love! I have tried many many lotions and creams similar to this and still, I prefer this CeraVe cream over all the other brands, including the Cetaphil moisturizing cream. I definitely recommend this and it makes such a great facial moisturizer especially in the winter time!!

This is my only go to moisturizing cream specially during this season when my skin -- hands specifically -- become super dry reddish choppy skin sometimes as it works without any "greasy" after effect and thank goodness as it is scentless. However, rest assured that it certainly never smells "fishy" as some reviewers strangely mentioned! However, later a customer Care rep from CeraVe informed me on the phone that sadly the 19 oz tube comes WITHOUT a "safety seal" but kindly suggested to reflect my concern to CeraVe regarding the importance of having the "safety lid" to avoid accidental or deliberate exposure to "pollutions" prior the user's purchase!I hope it clarifies the "safety seal" concern for those who asked about it in Q &A section as well as myself have received 2 different answers to the same question from the CeraVe -- one online via their website which said it should come with one as was previous experience with smaller sizes not it and the other one on the phone with CeraVe representative indicating that "unfortunately it does not but I reflect your concern to the team" which was odd as even recent reviews on amazon uploads 2 videos shouting the 19 oz WITH Safety Lid.I had to switch to another brand out of desperation after 3 times of receiving Cera Ve WITHOUT the safety Lid!

Fab on Combination/Oily Skin
