I would give this 3½ stars. I usually use the 8oz tube of CeraVe cream for my hands, even though it's kinda big it's just my favorite like a million stars product. I use something heavier at night but my hands get so dry and can get eczema and they're dryer than usual due to hand washing/hand sanitizer but no eczema or cracking thanks to this cream. I couldn't find it anywhere so I decided to try the much more expensive, $11.99 for 3oz, hand cream when I saw it at Ulta. I usually love CeraVe products with very few exceptions, but this is unfortunately one of the exceptions. This has all the same ingredients I like from CeraVe; ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. It also has dimethicone which I don't love, but my favorite lip SPF has it so it's not like I ... MoreI would give this 3½ stars. But unlike the cream, this is really watery. It's not as hydrating, and I don't like the film like residue from the dimethicone. Found my regular tube back in stock and happy to go back to it. I'll probably give this to my mom who usually loves any moisturizer or hand cream I give her.

So I decided to try this hand cream - partly on a whim but mostly because my hands were getting increasingly dry and really quite sore. I usually use O'Keefe's hand cream but found that my palms stayed really greasy and there was a film of moisture left on my hands. In all honesty, I had no real hopes that this cream would make any difference (particularly bearing in mind that I am 54 and have never paid much attention to hand care). My daughter insisted I try it and I am so glad that I did. I have been using this for the last three weeks and can see a noticeable difference in both the improved moisture levels and the lessening of those hideous crepey wrinkles that had started to appear! Talk about first world problems! But this cream allows me to wear it all night which has definitely helped! Would definitely recommend it and have just bought three more

I have been looking for a perfect hand cream for my hands during the winter and I’ve finally found it!!! (Disclaimer, I love in the south so it doesn’t get super cold here, but still my hands get dry!) Anyway, this is my go to moving forward. It’s not super thick and still a little goes a long way to leave my hands feeling smooth and hydrated! It goes on nice, absorbs really well and doesn’t leave a long sling greasy feeling. It also leaves a very pleasant smell. This is it!!!

So for one .. I’m a nurse.. so what with the hand washing and hand sanitizing a million times a day you can guess my hands get pretty dry! I love some fancy smelling hand creams like the rest of us.. but let’s be real a lot of those don’t really do the trick. I’m also my own worst enemy for not applying creams as often as I should.. which results in a dry cracked mess! But I recently discovered this stuff and I’m a fan solely for the benefits of it. I mean there is no smell. But there is also no greasy or sticky feeling to it which is great! It isn’t super thick, absorbs in nicely and really just hydrates super well! This is going to be great for work and all winter long! And bonus it’s inexpensive!

Perfect for those prone to hand eczema
5 January 2023

I'm very susceptible to hand eczema, it's something I struggle with every year, sometimes even in the summer, especially during the winter. a lot of the other hand creams I've looked at are either fragranced or too greasy or too thick/tacky. I came across CeraVe from derm reviews etc. so gave this a try as my very first CeraVe product. I've been using this for about a year now and am very happy. it keeps my hands moisturized for several hours, and is even water resistant which is great for me as I'm prone to hand eczema. easy to spread, not too thick, not tacky, not greasy. a little goes a long way. once massaged into the hands, it's all good. I like that it's fragrance free as I have asthma and eczema. overall very happy with this product, definitely recommend!

Smooth as Silk
26 February 2023

I've tried sooooooo many hand creams over the years. I work in food service and wash my hands approximately 627 times a day. I've t stupidly expensive hand creams, I've tried lotions meant for feet, I've tried everything. I stumbled upon this lotion while I was shopping the shelves for something different. One use, ONE and I'm a convert. Smooth, silky, and skin protectant. I'm sold.

Stopped Working
29 January 2022

Pros: It absorbed very quickly and did not leave my hands feeling greasy. I can touch my phone immediately afterwards without covering the screen in a film. Cons: It seemed to have stopped working after a few weeks. I have to wash my hands a lot for my job and my skin always gets dry in the winter. For the first few weeks this product worked amazingly - it gave me instant relief and my hands were soft again. But now I’m almost done with the tube and my hands are even drier and cracking so bad they’re bleeding. It’s so bad that I scuffed my hand against my canvas shoe and it scraped my skin raw.

WATERY - would not recommend for any purpose.
11 February 2022

CeraVe was recommended by my Dr. However, the Therapeutic Hand Cream (from ebay source) is very watery; far more so than most other products recommended for eczema. (I do not know if this its true character or not.) It could be due to being almost expired, or due to being shipped during winter when it may have frozen (& then thawed) - possibly changing the physical character. My hands also felt less moisturized, not nearly as moisturized, as with other products for dry skin. I have found better over the counter products at a similar or better price, so I would not recommend.

fast relief
7 January 2023

I have been suffering from dry scaly hands this winter. I was using a shea butter lotion many times a day and my hands just kept getting worse. I got this lotion and within a day could see so much improvement. I'm still a little dry but no longer painful or scaly. Worth the price. I have sensitive skin and have had no issues with this. It rubs in leaving a light non sticky feeling.
