Clarins Soothing Toning Lotion 200ml

I’m 60 years old and I’ve used the Extra Comfort Toner (and extra-comfort anti-pollution cleansing cream) for my very sensitive skin for many years. I’ve tried both the Soothing Toning Lotion and Hydrating Toning Lotion samples and I’m utterly disappointed - itching and rash. I then bought the Lumiere Essence, but it is unfortunately too thick to be applied with cotton wool to remove the last remnants of make-up - I don’t think it fits the description of a toner. The new cleansers are also not up to the extra comfort anti-pollution cleanser - bought a bottle of Cleansing milk with alpines last year after I was told it will also fit my skin. I then tried the new range in mini’s and samples: Soothing Gentle Foaming and Hydrating Gentle Foaming - itching, rash and does not clean properly. The Velvet Cleansing Milk - does not clean properly unless you cleanse 2 times. I’m now on Total Cleansing Oil - cleanse nicely and no rash, but it has a bad odour. I’m really at the end of trying products that don’t fit my skin perfectly only because I’ve been happy with Clarins for more than 20 years. Bring back the Extra-Comfort Anti-Pollution Cleanser and Extra Comfort, please!

I was gifted this product by The Beauty Works for review. This treatment oil has a lovely, lightweight texture that absorbs well into the skin to leave it feeling silky smooth and soft. It comes in a bottle with a dropper, and I find I only need a few drops each application as its quite concentrated. As someone with sensitive skin, I find a lot of facial oils irritate my skin as they contain heavy fragrances. I am therefore pleased this one has a mild, pleasant and natural herbal scent which is very calming to use, especially at night. This treatment oil contains a mix of natural plant oils such as camellia seed and apricot kernel oil, so its great for drier skin types. I was gifted this product by The Beauty Works for review, and was especially excited to try it because I have suffered from sensitive skin and a pink face since my teens. I can categorically say this oil helped reduce this it was noticeable by the end of the first week By the end of the second week, I was using far less foundation and mineral powder to cover the redness. I used it twice daily, around 4 drops each time, which was ample. The bottle will last for ages. Its called Oil on the bottle, but I found it was more of a watery consistency, which meant it soaked straight in when applied directly didnt leave any oily film and mixed perfectly with moisturiser and even my foundation when I combined them.
