Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Oily Skin 200 ml

I’ve been using Clinique as a teen and now in my early 40’s. A brand I trust to deliver great results and basically says on the tin. I use the mild facial liquid soap first thing in morning and taking make up off before bed. It’s so mild, doesn’t sting my eyes and doesn’t leave my skin dried out. It leaves my skin smooth, supple, makeup free and a wonderful fresh feeling. A brilliant routine to maintain without complicating things. The two bottles are the same product, but the brand is being as much of an eco friendly move. The one on the left is the older type bottle with the bigger pump. It’s a shame as the bigger pump isn’t recyclable deemed a no-no for the environment. I first used the clinique three step range back in 2015 2016 along with the dark spot corrector. What I loved most about this product was that it instantly left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. For years I wanted to go back to these products again but had budgetary limitations.I recently bought the same products three step 2 and dark spot corrector and felt the same amazing effects on my skin instantly. I must say Clinique is by far the best. Thank you to the team who have taken the time and effort to research what works for various skin types. I believe that it is through your dedication that we now have products that can basically transform our skin and restore its natural textures without that heavy layering. Bring back the old bottle

This works fine without drying or irritants. It removes makeup fairly well, though I don't wear a ton. I usually need a second round of soap and rinsing to remove it all. The new bottle is not great, and I much prefer the old pump style. Not convenient with wet hands and soap in your eyes to pick up a bottle, invert it, and squeeze out more, especially when the product level is low and it takes lots of shaking to get it out. Not a huge deal, I know, but why change something that makes it more difficult? Wish I saved an old bottle to transfer the from the new one.

Changed and I don't like my favorite anymore

The first thing I noticed about this new "All About Clean" version of the regular Mild liquid soap was that the smell was different, and not pleasant. This cleanser used to have a spa-like, pure quality about it. Then, as the bottle has gone on, I've noticed tiny red bumps spread across my cheeks (using the same methods I have for years of lathering first in my hands, and fully rinsing), and then also, some cystic-type bumps have come up too, which I never used to have. (I'm at least 20 years away from being a teenager.) And, the pump is replaced with a new cheap flip-top? I came on here to see if others have felt the same, and they do! WHY, Clinique???!!! Why change the best mild formula ever, and add horrid chemicals? I have combination oily, aging, sometimes sensitive skin, prone to acnemilia, and I use the facial soap for oily skin. It is a liquid gel consistency and doesnt necessarily foam, but is effective at removing my sunscreen, moisturizer, sweat, sebum, the little makeup that I wear, and any dirtpollution. If you wear makeup, Id recommend using makeup remover first, then finish with this cleanser. I turn cleansing into a massage using this product, to give the active ingredients time to work, on my face, ears, neck, decollete, and the bumpy areas on the back of my upper arms KP. My face feels fresh and clean, not stripped, and there is a lovely cooling minty sensation on my skin as the water evaporates. It is a lovely experience On days when my skin feels like it might react to actives or the minty fresh sensation, I use Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser instead, as a backup plan, but this is my preferred cleanser. Also, a little goes a long wayit only takes one or two pumps of product per cleansing. Id recommend this for anyone with oily skin, male or female its unscented and gender neutral, but if acne is a bigger problem, go with the acne line of products Clinique offers. I follow cleansing with this soap with Clarifying Lotion 3 exfoliant toner and Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel or Jelly both are oil freethe DDM lotion has oils. I would think that this soap would be drying without some kind of moisturizer, even a light oilfree moisturizer.

Did they change the formulation as well as packaging?

I have been using this mild cleanser for years and love it! Always, i would give it a five star review.Today I received the new purple pump, and started to use the soap. There was a plastic glue like smell to it, and it burned my hands and face. I am very distraught.Did you change the formulation? The website says same formulation just new packaging.Then, I came to the reviews and I see many other people writing the same thing after they received the new packaging.Please let us know if you've change the formulation. This was my go to cleanser for many many years. I don't know what I'm gonna do without it.

Works Really Well - Feels Balanced

I've had such a hard time finding a cleanser that didn't clog my pores while also not irritating my eczema-prone eyelids - this one is great! I went for the combination-oily to oily formulation, because of my pore-clogging issues, my skin being somewhere in between that and dry-combination. This is so good! It doesn't flare up my eczema at all, my skin feels super clean but not overly dry, and I only have to use a super tiny amount. I mean like less than a fingertip for my whole face. I'm so happy with this!
