When I purchased this cleanser and another moisturiser of Clinique recently, I got a lovely gift with purchase and one of the things included was this newly upgraded moisture surge 72 hour auto replenishing hydrator.\n\nThis definitely seemed like the magical moisturiser that my skin is needing at the moment and very perfectly timed I might add. It’s supposed to be a richer version of the original moisture surge cream, claiming to plump soften and hydrate skin for 72 hours from the very first use, which seems like a lot to offer and claim, but could it possibly be?\n\nAfter double cleansing and applying serum, I scooped out a pea sized amount of this gorgeous candy pink coloured gel and massaged over my entire face neck and décolletage area. It absorbed straight away, and although thick and creamy in texture, it sank in straight away with no greasy residue, tiny amount was needed too for my whole face and neck too so good to know it will go a long way. I had a slight glow straight away and my skin felt so refreshed and smooth and supple also. Now for the big claim, did these effects last a whole 72 hours long? Well unfortunately no that did not seem to be the case for me, it certainly lasted all day long and from the very first use, but I don’t think any single moisturiser can possibly last for 72 hours, 24 at the most. I loved trying it out for free , I love the gorgeous pink colour of the moisturiser and packaging and I loved how cool and refreshing it felt on my skin, and it did give me a subtle yet noticeable glow straight away. But it’s not my HG moisturiser that’s for sure, so I’m still searching and will finish up this sample as a night time moisturiser before looking elsewhere for that possible HG moisturiser. Not impossible as I have found my HG cleanser so I will keep up this beautiful search, knowing it’s very possible and out there somewhere waiting for me.\n

I bought a Clinique moisture surge from Sephora. I was unsure about the purchase at first though but after using it, I loved it. I will definitely buy it again. I love this product for hydration. It feels so light and gives my skin a nice dewy finish. It is a lightweight gel moisturizer. It doesn't feel sticky and greasy and makeup sits really well with it. It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling plump and hydrated. If you are looking for moisturizer that keeps your skin hydrated all day long then I would suggest this product. It's a great moisturizer for normal or even dry skin. It smells very nice and works well with makeup. I recommend this product.

I love this stuff! It really helps keep my face moisturized without a heavy feeling. I don't use the cream version, it's more like a gel. My face soaks it right up, and I use it after using the clinique daily face wash. I live in a humid state and this stuff doesn't make my face feel like the product is melting off like some other products I've used. It's a little pricey, but a little goes a very long way with this stuff!

This is replacement formula for the original Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst. This is not a replacement, but a change and not for the good. This is not as hydrating as the original formula, but it is also sticky. This does not penetrate into my skin like the original formula. This sits on the surface of the skin and my foundation does not look good. I tried this formula for a few days morning and evening hoping that I would love this, but I do not.

Got this as a birthday gift and i was disappointed… the product definitely has the hydration aspect, but (even as someone w/dry skin) I experienced a significant amount of pilling. It is rare that this happens with my skin and wanted to give the product a another chance to preform better in hopes it was a poor application on my part. Sadly this wasn’t the case and the pilling continued and it also noticed this only affect the very top of my skin, causing a decrease in the depth of hydration from this product. This paired with the fact Clinique still tests on animals is why I do not intent to purchase this product. This is just my opinion, take what resonates:)

This is a long time staple in my mom’s shelf, and it was the first gel moisturizer formula I ever tried. For my oily skin, it’s great since it’s so lightweight, sinks in fast, and leaves my skin feeling plump and smooth. My mom has combination skin and loves the formula equally for the same reasons, and find that it’s enough hydration for even the drier areas of the skin. It’s a classic for a reason, so it’ll be a staple for a long time!

It gives me enough hydration for the consistency that it has, it's not thick very lightweight and suitable for I think any skin types. Like I said in the beginning I have acne prone skin and this never broke me out I used to have a routine that was for many years and my acne never went away and I'm in a better place now so I reintroduce that moisturizer just to make sure if it broke me out and it doesn't. The product last for a decent amount of time, maybe about two months it's just I'm more on a budget friendly skincare routine now. The only reason I'll use the Clinique moisturizer is if I'm wearing makeup, or my skin is irritated since I know it doesn't bother my skin. If you have the money to spend like this on a moisturizer you need this in your skincare routine. Or just use it on the days you wear makeup, either way it's worth the buy depending on your willingness to spend. I only took one star off because of the price, but everything about it is spot-on!

This has saved my skin today, per my previous posted review on an allergic reaction/skin burn i had after using Garnier. I had to do something to quick fix my skin my jar of Moisture surge got the job done. I dabbed a little on each time eventually the peeling was gone under my eyes were no longer dried out burning. I love Clinique products, I honestly think they are the best, I'm so thankful to have had this on hand today. (Thanks to my husband for gifting it to me) After applying this all over my face, I left my skin to breathe for a few hours before applying makeup it went on smoothly. I don't recommend putting anything on irritated skin, but today for a quick fix this is what worked for me didn't cause my skin to get worse. Pack with hydration

The Moisture Surge Auto-Replenishing Hydrator is a facial moisturiser with gel texture. I have dry skin and this moisturiser gave all the hydration that my skin needed. The lightweight texture means the product gets absorb into my skin in no time. My skin feels pumped and hydrated without any stickiness or leaving any residue on my skin. This hydrator works particularly well in the morning for me and it freshen up my skin before I apply makeup. I use it every morning and evening and my skin does feels pumped and has improved with overall dullness complexion. It is 100% fragrance free which is a bonus for me. However, this product won't get me through the winter session due to its lightweight texture. Overall, great product and love the brand as it never disappoints me.
