When you make a mistake and hang something in the wrong spot, it's real easy to remove the old adhesive and replace it with one of these strips. I like the double-sided foam tape style much better than the double-sided plastic tape. I think the double-sided foam tape holds up better for a longer period of time.

I never write reviews but am doing so to save your picture frames! I recently moved and I kept all the original hooks as they were supposed to be re-usable. I got a couple of different re-fill packs and put them up just as normal.Every single one (honestly, every one) has come down again. I have replaced with brand new products and no problems at all.So please, don't bother trying to re-use them, just accept you need to buy new hooks and save yourself some picture frames!

The strips have an extremely stong hold. Superb quality. They are very easy to apply and also easy to remove. They stick to just about every surface. I prefer using the command strips as opposed to using nails in the wall which leaves hole marks. There is no sticky residue or stains when using the strips. I have used them to hang up my picture frames, calendars and a small coat rack. I highly recommend this product.

I followed the instructions. The hook seemed fine. A few days later it fell off the wall. I did it again in another spot. This one I think has been fine for a whole week. I think it's going to stay. I would recommend it, and I would buy these types of hooks for other projects around the house.
I bought these double adhesive version, partially in error as I'd successfully used the velcro version previously in hanging a picture wall. They've done the job great as initially thought these were for posters & not framed paintings. Easy to use & securely fastens paintings with no drilling etc.
Keep recycling my 3M hooks. Can’t recycle the tape to affix hooks to walls. It’s getting harder to find non-picture or photo frame tape. I’m trying to hang my keys, my USB cords, etc. Less picture hanging strips, more practical usage re-use tape strips please. Need to keep electrical cords out of reach of human toddlers, cats, and small dogs who all have been damaged by chewing on live-wires. Yes, my chairs are to heavy for them to drag into area close by to climb up to still get cords. Look on Facebook at Tesla and Opus: Offleash for example of a puppy chewing on live wire. I grew up with a human who bit one at 2.5 years old. In our 50’s she still has the scar from damage done to her mouth.
Bought these on line, thinking they were the Velcro type picture hanging strips I have used successfully before. They are designed to secure hooks or light objects only, important information I feel is not emphasised in the description of the product Screwfix have provided. So I have taken them back for a refund and now have the right strips for the job.
This product is more expensive than alternative methods of hanging items and, yet, it did not work for me. Used it to hang items less than the maximum recommended weight. All of the items fell off of the wall about 3 days after hanging. I won't buy this product again.
Mitre 10 is the only shop where I could find the replacements to go with the Command hooks I already have. Nice work Mitre 10 for being sustainably minded. Also, from experience these are good quality and last unlike cheaper ones which fall off after a few months.
Have been using command for years but these arent the good ones, the picture was not aligned so have to take it out to align and it gave a shock of life on a newly painted (4 weeks back) wall and ripped off the paint in two stripes attaching pics . I wouldnt recommend these ones, the other ones i have used for ages and never disappointmented me
