I used this product long ago but sometimes it worked good, sometimes it was not. I just used it then couple days later I had to replace. It looked like it needed to test for more strength and stability. I hope it would be better so I could use it longer. Thanks

We have been using 3M Command products since they came out. We have nearly always had excellent results both with stickiness and with removability (you DO have to follow the instructions when removing; pulling out instead of down _will_ damage something).However, TAKE NOTE.; Recently we experienced the "unsticky" problem mentioned in a few reviews. We contacted 3M and they were very helpful in explaining the issue. The adhesive on UNINSTALLED sticky strips has a shelf life. It is about a year. All one needs is a flat, cleanable surface at least as large as the sticky strip (leaving room to pull on the tab) and the object / load cannot exceed the sticky strip rating. I've hung LED lights, signs, a notepad in my car, Lego models, ... well, all kinds of things! Hmm... we're getting a Garvin GPS for our next trip. I wonder ... LOL

It is SO NICE not to have to patch zillions of nail/screw holes in my walls. When I want to take something down, these come off clean and damage-free. And also so nice to have a little bit of wiggle room when hanging a picture, to get it perfectly level without having to pound MORE HOLES. I love these things.

I use them for hanging my frames, my hooks, my towel rack, my blow dryer, my mirror decorations, I even use them on my turtle tank to hold the covers in place with the Velcro ones. Now I am about to use them to hold my amazon echo units above my head board instead of behind it. If you take the time to prep the wall, and the strips are held against it firmly for about 10-30 seconds. the hold will last. I live in France and I swear by these things for hanging all of my artwork. The image beside the strips is NOT what I use. I think this is a mistake. I used the flat metal pieces that came with the original kits. Because I am always rearranging my furniture and my artwork, I wanted to have refills on hand when I do. I ask all of my friends to bring me back refills whenever they visit. Depending on the art, I sometimes have to use more than one.
Sweepstakes EntryWe live in a 100 year old military home. We cannot put holes in the wall but with kids, I want photos on the walls. These strips have held up great and when taken down have not damaged the plaster walls! Love these and will continue to use command products throughout our home
I had purchased this product after seeing it on tv. They had showed it holding up a frame or something like that. I purchased to packs of it thinking this will work wonderful for my lightweight pictures that weighed about two pounds. After putting them up I thought everything was going to hold, then suddenly two of my frames came down.... I was grateful that the glass did not break but unhappy that I had wasted my money on this product.The only thing that held up with it was the poster board I had up that weighed less than a pound.It was a total waste of money and all the items had been under the weight limit and it just did not work.
About three months ago I bought the Command Large Refill Strips at Walmart. Well I hung three pictures all small 5x7 two with glass in one without. The two with glass are still hanging, however the one without which was a lighter picture last night fell down it hung for about three hours. After it fell and I tried to rehang it, it wouldn't stick. So I decided to slowly, carefully, remove the piece attached to the wall. MY PAINTED WHITE WALL HAS A HOLE WITH PAINT RIPPED OFF. Im not very happy about this. I have attached a photo, with my finger pointing to the area as it doesn't show well in a photo but its clearly noticable to the naked eye on the wall!
I bought a package of the refill strips, and shortly after starting to use them I noticed things falling off the wall. I used 3 on my google mini following the directions to a tee. It is sitting on the counter now not hanging. I took the rest of the package and opened them up and the adhesive no longer had any stickiness on the command side and was only slightly tacky on the wall side. I had never had any problems with the complete sets that I had bought so I was very disappointed when the refills didn't work.
I bought this in bulk a year ago. The first time I used them was shortly after purchasing and they worked great. Fast forward a year, I tried to use them again and all the sticky-ness of them were gone. Had I known they loose their sticky-ness sitting in a box, I would have never purchased in bulk.
