Command White Picture Hanging Strip Mixed Pack - 16 Pairs

I purchased these to hang my 12 lb white board. After following all the instructions and going so far to put 4 straps on, the whiteboard still fell 24 hrs later. The command straps took Paint with them. I'm very upset as a renter in how expensive these were for them to fail pretty immediately.

I’ve used this product before and for some. Reason I don’t know if it was the pack that I got but all the frames that I had hanging fell. I used this exact product in my last apartment with the same frames. I was very disappointed. Had to purchase this product again and it worked.

A Terrific Addition to a Terrific Line of Hangers

I have used 3M Command Strips for years for a variety of purposes -- hanging light pictures on walls, placing specialized tools (wrenches, etc.) nearby where they will be used, and putting various hanging clips in showers to hold brushes, sponges, and so on. They are simply one of the best products for hanging something on a wall when you might later want to move it -- even after years of being on a painted wall, they remove completely leaving no trace.This heavier duty set of hanging strips adds another variation to a great product line. This set arrived just in time - the clock is on the wall (easier to take it off to replace the battery, by the way) and if I ever decide to move it, the wall will not have to be patched.These do exactly what they promise to do - I can't recommend them highly enough and would buy there myself anytime i wanted to hang a heavier item (I received a free sample to evaluate; the fact they were free has not influenced my enthusiastic review).

BEWARE…They Do Not Last

Have been using these strips for years to hang pictures in my house. About 6 months ago one of my pictures fell off of the wall. The frame was completely ruined and the photograph as well, was scratched from the broken glass. It had been on the wall for about 5 years. Thank goodness none of my children were around at the time because the glass shattered everywhere. Today another picture fell off the wall! I couldn’t believe it. I figured the first time was just a fluke incident. At least this picture fell behind my tv stand so not much damage was done to it. I am definitely going to take these strips off the rest of my pictures and go back to hanging with nails. Seems like they only last for a certain amount of time. Must have item

This are really a must have for any home owner. I was so excited to try the free sample of these picture hanging strips. We have often used the smaller ones for lighter picture frames, but was thrilled to try this for a heavy one! The best thing about these is that there is no need for hole in the wall. The application couldn’t be easier with just a thin strip on the back of each tab to peel off. One side on the picture, one on the wall and connect! I love that I can easily reposition when I want to redecorate as well. Removal is a cinch and these leave no sticky residue on the wall or the frame. Not worth it, they don't work as described

I purchased these to hang up two pictures that are probably about 6 lb. They did not hold at all for even a few minutes or stick while taking the strips off all but too came off fine. The other two pulled the paint off my walls and I remove them slowly just like it describes. I am not happy with them at all. Do not recommend them.

Super Easy!

I used these Command hanging strips to hang up a magnetic board for my starting magnet collection. They were super easy to apply to the back of the board. I put a strip on each corner and then pressed the board on to the wall. It literally took less than 30 seconds to hang up my board. It looks amazing! It will be super easy to take this off the wall if I ever need to. You just pull it off and then remove the strips. A super easy way to hang something up. No holes in your walls and from my experience with previous Command products, the strips never pull off the paint either. Highly recommend!

THEY DO NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have purchased several of the 15 lb and 30 lb picture hanging strips the past 3 years or so. In that time, I have had at least 8 different pictures (i.e., 8" x 10") fall off the walls breaking with glass all over the floor, bookcase, and bed. After they fall, I have strips of paint peeled off the wall in several rooms. THEY STINK! I would not recommend them to anyone and it does not let me put a 0 rating.

Unexpected failure

I bought 3M command products many times. My last application, I used 9 pairs (16 pound, 7.2 kg) to hang an 8 pound speaker. For months it holds firmly. So I repeated this same configuration for the other 8 pound speaker to free up counter space. Within three days, so unexpectedly, the speaker fail and hit the floor without anyone touching or bumping the speaker. How can I expect a 20 pound 3M command product spread over 4 pairs times 2 to hold if 16 pound 4 pair times 2 per speaker causes unexpected hold conditions. When can I expect the 8 pound speaker to fall again?
