This set is perfect for our family. A bowl and plate has survived being dropped by our toddler without a scratch/chip/break, which speaks greatly to strong durability! The are light and solid, which helps in fitting them in the dishwasher without weight-concern. There are such fun patterns, we actually have more than one to 'mix and match,' (but coordinate) which our kids also love.

I purchased the lunch plates to use as dinner plates. The size is perfect! I think the dinner plates would be too large. I like the simplicity of the design - I want my food to be the focus, not the fancy plates.They've been run through my stodgy old rental dishwasher dozens of times, and while I haven't managed any catastrophic drops, they feel very sturdy.I didn't initially get these for their light weight, but it's very strange now to visit my parents for dinner and find that one of their ceramic dinner plates is as much as three or four of mine.

I purchased these mainly for my entree meals. I prefer them to plates, less spillage. Also, my husband has a tendency to chip our dinnerware, and these seem to be husband proof. Another added bonus, is that the 6 pieces that come in this set take up my 50% less space in my cupboard than my other dinnerware. Very happy with this set!

Love the dishes and the fact that you can get a set that doesn't include the cups and saucers. What I didn't like was one of the plates was broken. It wasn't on the very bottom or the very top but right in the middle. All of the pieces were there so it probably didn't break on the assembly line so I have to assume it was done in shipping. They replaced the plate quickly and for free but it was disappointing since I gave them as a Christmas present. Overall...good deal and I'm happy that my sister was happy (eventually).
I've been using Corelle dishes for over 20 years and have never had any issues with them aside from when I dropped a stack of them on a hardwood floor, which I can't really complain about. These dishes are no different. The quality is extremely high and I have no reason to believe the paint is done any differently from earlier sets, which still looked exactly the same after over 40 years of use by my grandparents.
Great everyday dishes that are easy to dress up for friend and family gatherings. I no longer care about storing extra sets of dishes for different kinds of gatherings.Fancy or everyday, these are what I'm using. They look classic, clean well, store easily, and I can replace them if I ever break one. They are slim, but sturdy and take up far less storage space than my old stone wear. All other dishes are now gone from my house. I've got china cups, saucers, and serving pieces, but Corell dinner plates, bowls, salad and desert, plates. The Corell serving bowls are what I use when I want to have a large dinner salad, so I ordered extra of those.
I bought this set as a gift, as I have been very happy with Corelle purchases in the past. This is a wonderful set, as the white goes with everything. I love the fact that there are no cups, as most people need more plates & bowls. Corelle is such a great brand for families, as it takes a lot of abuse & keeps looking great.
Beautiful winter white. Clean up is a breeze and heck they even look pretty lined up in my dish drainer! Was looking for lighter dishes as we are getting older and our hand strength isn't what it used to be. Corelle fits the bill. Very happy with this purchase.
I love this Black and White correlle set. I bought the salad/luncheon plates in addition to this set and imagine having really excellent dinners out on the patio with them this summer. They are lightweight, a fun set of designs, and have all the great qualities of correlle. When having bigger groups I will mix and match with my plain white correlle plates. It makes for a much nicer affair than using paper plates, and goes along with my motto of producing as little waste as possible. I am very happy with my purchase!
Love these lunch plates. Exactly what I needed to go with the rest of my set. I had large plates and small plates but no medium plates to go with my set. These were perfect! Light weight, easy to clean and don't chip! Winter Frost White in colour. Stack nicely!
