These Crayola Signature Blending Markers come in a beautifully illustrated decorative tin that truly depicts just how well the colors shine, pop and blend. The tin is a classy step up from the Crayola kids packaging we all knew and loved growing up.Inside the tin there are two plastic trays that are designed to hold each marker in its place, keeping the markers organized at all times. There are 16 markers in all (14 shades & 2 Colorless Blenders). The colorless blending markers come in such handy because they lighten shades and/or remove them all together. The color blending line-up is super clever because it consists of two of each color (one light tone & one darker tone). In my opinion, these blending markers are perfect for teens and adults that are aspiring artists, and those who are working towards perfecting their skill. I think it's a GREAT starter set, that's seriously affordable!! However, there was one downfall- the marker tips do tend to get a little mushy and fray a bit after blending and swatching, and only gets worse with use. For that reason alone I have to give these markers 4 stars.* I received this product for free, in return for my honest feedback. All opinions are 100% my own.

I love these markers. Upon first use they didn’t blend but still colored beautifully. The only reason they did not blend was due to the paper they were used on. When I used them on a canvas they blended beautifully and gave a watercolor effect without the mess. The blender marker does not mix unwanted color. For instance, I was blending black and gray then I needed to blend light pink and purple, there was no black marker transfer onto the lighter colors. I do wish the markers could be purchased individually without having to repurchase the whole tin.

Bought these thinking they'd be a cheap alternative to copic markers and the like - shouldn't have. The only colours that vaguely blend are the ones already similar in colour, eg the dark blue with the dark green, in which case the clear blender isnt needed (and this could be accomplished with any markers). Trying to blend the light and dark blues together is a whole other story. Even going back and forth multiple times between the colours and the blender, still not blended, and it stains through up to 5 sheets of good quality thick paper. The blending marker also leaves weird tide line marks where it's been used. Not happy at all.

While these blending markers are good on paper (better on watercolor paper) I much prefer to use them on pre-prepared canvas from the craft section. The only problem is that I can't by blenders separately! They're the fastest to run out. I've tried alcohol but it's not quite the same. Crayola! Please sell your clear blenders separately. I currently have 3 sets that I've bought over the last 3 years. And they've lasted quite a while.
These are okay. I like the brush tip and how well the markers don’t streak when overlapped. But the color spreads a little bit (when using on a coloring picture it will bleed past the black lines). And I can’t figure out how these are supposed to blend. I used one color and then the blender to lighten it and applied second color and then tried the blender again but all it did was make the color bleed more and look fuzzy like water sat on the paper and dried. I even tried putting the two colors next to each other and tried to “blend them together” but all that did was make it fuzzy looking again with no blending.
Blending markers were not what I expected. Left the paper blotchy and wet looking? Maybe it’s the type of paper idk it’s just from staples lol. The regular colors are all beautiful but I got it specifically for the blending aspect I already have normal markers lmao. I added a picture of the markers separately and “blended”
The actual quality of the marker is quite nice. I like the brush tip a whole lot, the colors are saturated, layering doesn't produce streakiness. I will definitely use them till they dry up.Now for the bad part- I along with a lot of people, received 2 markers that were dried out right out of the package. After looking at reviews it seems like it would be likely if I returned and replaced the markers I could be getting more dried up markers lol. They also bleed a lot on the paper I use. (I've used copics, sharpie, stylefile, prismacolor, and tombows) I've never had a marker bleed as much as this one.
These have definitely impressed me. I'm going to stock up. These are great alcohol based markers for cheep. Something to note about these: they will bleed through paper, which is to be expected for alcohol markers. They dry withouth showing strokes, they are smooth. When blending lay down the dark color first, then really wirk the lighter one into the other and it will blend great (works best with similar colors). Also the blender is more for moving ink away from the paper or fixing mess ups. It comes with two, so if your into colored pencils the colorles blender also works great for blending colored pencils. I love these! My only complaint is i wisb soooo badly they would make bigger sets of these with more colors.
I liked them a lot. They color even. I like that they have the blending markers and can blend colors into each other. You do have to be careful the paper you use or put an extra couple sheets between because most papers that aren't the correct weight bleed through. The tin I bought at the Crayola store in Orlando lasted over a year before most colors ran out of ink. :( I loved them a lot. Crayola didn't give them to me. I bought them after my vacation to Disney from the hospital. All these opinions are mine.
ok. im in no way a professional artist. but. these are really good markers. like. really good. listen. Crayola. make more of these. you are ON TO SOMETHING BIG! make a bunch of different colors and sell them as singles and i know i will surely buy them.
