Scooped this up at a bargain price! Very happy with it. Only negative would be the soft cover book instead of hard cover to match all the others.

The last campaign I just got of was Curse of Strahd and it took a little over a year using digital resources. This is my first time seeing the physical book. Phenomenal set. Packaged and presented phenomenally. I really appreciate having the adventure book and monster apendix as sepearte pieces. If you are going to run a campaign for the first I think you might feel more comfortable starting out with a premade game (starter set adventure, etc.), and this would be a first "formal" campaign that to DM. The Tarokka cards are pretty good and I like that they have their own box.

This contains so many amazing supplies! I honestly prefer the paper back for the book than the hard cover. I wish they did this more. The portrait that is included of Strahd is beautiful and functions as a Stat card.

I absolutely love the lore and in depth explanations within the Curse of Strahd(CoS) book. The post cards, CoS unique monsters book, map and particularly the Tarokka deck are great to have to add spice to the campaign. I do feel that for the price paid they could have made the book a Hard Cover just to protect the pages a bit better.
The card was shipped in a thick plastic sleeve, and the actual card itself was impossible to remove without damaging the card. Wish better shipping method was chosen. Card still does the job, just slightly bent... Other than that, decent price on the item and good shipping time.
I got this for my boyfriend who loves all things DnD. He is absolutely in love with it. He uses the the DM screen for every session, whether its related to this campaign or his homebrew. He isn't quite sure what to think about the Tarokka cards yet because we haven't started the campaign in earnest, but the packaging, presentation, and quality of the materials are all excellent.
No idea why they chose to make this book with a soft cover. That makes it prone to bending and warping. I like the tarokka deck, as its bigger than the original. They add postcards for some reason but they're kinda boring and I don't know anyone who sends postcards anymore. The dm screen and the box is about all that is good. They should've put an alternate hard cover copy of the book inside instead, making it worth the price.
So Curse of Strahd was one of the first books I picked up for DnD 5e and it has always stood out to me as being one of the most focussed aventures they (WotC) have released for the current iteration of the game and when I heard there was a collectors edition coming I was instantly interested. So to start with this comes in a coffin shaped box which is huge, imposingly so almost. The components inside are mostly of the high quality that you would expect from such a premium product with the possible exception of the new, plus sized, Tarokka deck as the cards inside feel to be made of a very thin material. There are some very nice touches and having the NPC and monster stats in a separate booklet to the adventure is certainly handy but overall the adventure is pretty ... MoreSo Curse of Strahd was one of the first books I picked up for DnD 5e and it has always stood out to me as being one of the most focussed aventures they (WotC) have released for the current iteration of the game and when I heard there was a collectors edition coming I was instantly interested. If you like your collectors editions and extra bits then this is well worth picking up but if that kind of thing isn't that important then you can probably knock a couple of stars off this rating
As a long time fan of Ravenloft and the Curse of Strahd module this was a perfect add to my DnD collection. It's absolutely massive, the paperback books are broken down to be more manageable and easier to find what you are looking for, and all of the added items really bring the whole experience to life.
Loved all the goodies that came in this set! The box is pretty sturdy which is great. Only disappointment is that the book is paperback and pretty flimsy.
