Wont configure as a mesh extender as suggested by the Staff- So I purchased a different product - Im sure it would be fine as a std router though. Doesent suit my purpose.

So I got this at petone store opening special was having issues with a 3yr old trust power router had to turn my desk top comp off and restart multiple times even being wired in with the cable. Installed this one worked first time ever since. Had a small issue with install but found an Nz number help desk that was open at 8pm got it all sorted easy as. Would totally recommend this product. As I have multiple people using this on wifi and 1 wired no issues

Super easy to set up with their cell phone App. Way faster with much larger coverage area than my ISP's router, but still have to use their modem. May have solved my buffer bloat issues with streaming TV with their QOS software. Too soon to really say as it will take more usage experience to be sure. but it appears to be better. Time will tell.

WEAPON OF A ROUTER! does an amazing job at supplying fast and reliable internet wi-fi or ethernet. EXTREMELY easy to use, especially with an app to control it all.
definitely improved my wifi speed and reliability. easy to setup if your ISP is one of the major provider in NZ
Great product. Easy install. Works great for our big house and even though the router is in the garage downstairs.
The installation was straightforward and easy. Most of our devices worked without any problems. However, iPhones displayed "weak security" because the router does not currently support WPA3. I contacted D-Link Support who confirmed this and said that the device was secure but would not support WPA3 until the release of new firmware which is being developed but no date has been announced yet.
Not a great router. My ISP-provided router's WAN port died after 5 years of use and I needed something to mull me over until I got a replacement or upgraded. The setup was very simple as other reviews have stated, but that's where the good ends. The first few days, the router was fine. I don't know what happened after the first few days, but it shows why this was on sale and sub $100. Wi-Fi Devices losing constant connectivity. I thought it was an issue with my devices, so I restarted them. Nope, that wasn't the issue. I have Wi-Fi cameras from Google and they constantly go offline. I never had these issues with the Telus router. For some reason, on every single connected device, it takes forever to load anything. TVs, mobile devices, and my computers that are ... I never had these issues with the Telus router. For some reason, on every single connected device, it takes forever to load anything. TVs, mobile devices, and my computers that are hard-wired to the router. I have a gigabit connection, ran a speedtest, and I'm getting gigabit. For some reason, the DNS lookup on this router takes forever. Tried changing the default DNS server, but it didn't help at all. I checked the QoS settings within the router too, but there was nothing changed in there. I tried setting priority for QoS, but that didn't help either. I tried factory resetting the router to see if that helped, nope. I tried updating the router's firmware, but that didn't help either. My ISP-provided router from Telus(the white trash can looking one) worked better than this thing. I recommend an Asus router or, if you can afford to spend the money, get a Uniquiti Dream Router. If your ISP router is working and you think this thing is going to be better, save your money.
Was skeptical at first after seeing some bad reviews, but after setting up and getting it all running my speed increased dramatically and lowered ping, also looks cool sitting on my desk relatively easy to set up, just remember you still need a modem this just basically enhances it and runs your Internet from this instead just have to run a ethernet from your modem to his.
Got this router on sale. It arrived quickly and it was very simple to set up using the QR code and the app. It is replacing a D-Link router I have had for 10 years that was still working well but not able to compete against my neighbor's mesh Wi-Fi. I have a pretty good coverage over my 1200 ft² home. I already had a D-Link mesh extender and it was a little bit more fussy to set up but finally have it working. This is just day two and so far I am very pleased. For $99 sale price and Wi-Fi 6 and mesh technology, it's pretty amazing!
