Another fine monitor from Dell, the thinner bezel makes my multi-monitor setup a bit more immersive. It is half the width of the bezel on my all-in-one center monitor, and a little bit smaller than the P2422 I am using as the lefthand in my setup. The base is much smaller, giving me additional free space on the physical desktop for staplers and post-it-notes.I also like the built-in video-chaining, which would be amazing in a home setup. I have it on a WD19 dock for now, which handles the multiple video feeds internally, but I can appreciate having that in the monitor instead.Having ALL the cables included eased setup considerably.

I found this monitor to be a great monitor for work. I do programming and design and it works great. The picture of crisp, vibrant, with a ton of options. The menu is full of possibility to make this your monitor. Being able to set the temp to a value that was comfortable on the eyes for extended periods of time was nice. Playing movies, games, and the design software was beautiful to watch. At 120hz it was a noticeable difference from 60 and 75 other monitors I use are set to. I plan on buying a few more

The Dell UltraSharp 24 continues to give outstanding performance. We have used these at my company for a while now and I have zero complaints. Everything about them feels like top quality, from the form factor, materials used, how easy it is to move around and adjust, brightness, clarity, everything. In a pinch I have been forced to use other monitors for various projects and, while I can often get 24" displays for less money, none of them have the same out-of-the-box usability. I've often had to purchase 3rd party mounts/stands to make them have the same usability as the U2424H.
Bought this as a replacement for an old 23" monitor which was showing its age. I needed something that would work with my 2 work Windows laptops and my Mac Mini and it is working a treat. I alternate between my laptops using USB-C and my Mac is connected using USB-C to DP, using display and peripheral manger on my Mac means switching between inputs is just a keyboard shortcut way. Picture quality is excellent, I'm not a gamer so can't comment on that but it hasn't disappointed me with anything I have asked it to display. Shame it doesn't have a built in speaker but that is a minor gripe. Yes it's expensive but it's a quality bit of kit and zero buyers remorse from me.
The initial setup is straightforward. Just take three pieces from the box and link them together. The multiple-direction base allows you to put the monitor in the ideal position. The height is sensible, and any pressure can move it down easily. The screen can be rotated almost in any direction. The display is very clear and can easily be adjusted with the physical button or with the Dell display manager. The brightness can be set automatically to let it adjust according to the light instead of manually doing it. The 120Hz refresh rate makes it ideal for smoother changes on screen. The border around the screen is almost unnoticeable, taking up only what is needed.Another great thing is the USB type C cable compared to regular USB cable, which allows you to increase ... The Easy Arrange feature of the Dell Display Manager allows you to quickly activate a specific layout on the screen with a few clicks. The monitor has a feature that allows you to connect multiple computers and share a keyboard, mouse, and files across them quickly and securely. Still need to try that feature. Theoretically, it sounds useful. Dell Display Manager also allows you to export/import configuration profiles to replicate the setup across a fleet of monitors easily. The part I like the most is all the environmental thought in the part of the monitor and the packaging. It is not good that it does not include an HDMI cable.
The monitor itself is quite nice and I always order Ultrasharps for my company. Unfortunately, if using the USB C connection for video, as well as a hub, the connection is poor and regularly causes issues. This includes dropping the internet connection as well as having keystrokes on the keyboard repeat until the connection is re-established. I believe the cause is from my webcam, which has a relatively high bandwidth requirement (it's a 4k camera). It's connected to the monitor via a second, externally powered USB hub, so I don't think power draw is the issue. The same hub works fine when connected directly to my laptop. This would be an easy 5 star review if the hub performed better, but the frequent network and peripheral drops don't justify the higher price for ... The monitor has a lot of the features of higher performance monitors including the ambient light sensing, eyes train reduction and display port daisy chaining capacity. The display was sharp but would like to see higher resolution in a new monitor offering. It would also be good to provide enough power delivery through the USB-C port to charge laptops, but I didn't see any charging in my testing despite setting the device up for power delivery through USB. Also wasn't able to daisy chain via display port from the USB-C input. I feel like the idea is good, but connectivity and power refinement are still needed.
Accurate and sharp Color. Aesthetically pleasing as well easy to set up and highly adjustable stand.I would purchase this monitor again. The overall quality and functionality is a bit more than I need. But for the price it's a wonderful display. The touchpad buttons do not seem work all the time. Power button is hard to find without proper lighting. Takes some time to get them calibrated properly, or maybe I am just to picky. Software available to configure the monitor, but it does not allow you to save custom settings.
I work as an engineer and have a Dell workstation class laptop, 2 of the standard Dell U2424H monitors and dual USB-C docking stations at the office. Going for a more minimalist approach at the home office I decided to get a single Dell U2424HE model (this item), which includes built in docking station and charging features. With a single USB C plug I get all of my peripherals - webcam, headset, soundbar, keyboard, mouse, networking, and 90W charging. What blows me away is the fact that Dell included a 2.5 Gb/s ethernet port. If you're like me and paying for 1.0 Gb/s internet and have the right router, I'm able to download at speeds over 1.1 Gb/s. The Dell docking station I have at work that costs as much as this monitor doesn't have 2.5 Gb/s ethernet.
