I have three of these and all have been faulty after using them on the fan mode. The first two were replaced after a short period of use and I'm now trying to find the receipt for the third. Known issue. Should be taken off the market. Complete waste of time and money. We have their oil heaters and they are great but this thing is plain useless.

So I turned to Choice magazine and the previous model of Thi heater was a Recommended choice. Although there are cheaper heaters, people said they did not last. After using the heater for awhile now I am very happy with the purchased and impressed on how well it keeps a cold room warm. I am using ECO mode and allowing the heater to manage at what level it runs. I turn it on and it does it's Jobe wonderfully.

Heater does warm up our small lounge room and shuts down to a lower power mode though. We have it against the wall but near our recliners where we can watch tv and enjoy the warm.

I love the Eco-mode for this heater, it maintains the warmth whilst minimising energy use. I rarely use the fan although its handy when first coming home to bring the temp up. You can also stand near it and warm your hands or enjoy the heat coming from the top. I have had it on during autumn and it has meant that I havent had to light my wood fire. Its just unfortunate that the controls are on the black background as at night its hard to see what the controls are and make adjustments. Now I am used to the heater and the location of functions its not so bad but initially it caused annoyance. Overall it keeps the worst of the chill off a large area and does exactly what I hoped it would provide quiet efficient heating.
Very disappointed with this product, thinking of returning it Its a slim line look so more of a decoration than a working product I have recently relocated to Perth after living in a very warm region and wasnt coping with the cold weather So raced out to buy a heater, without any Knowledge, so relied on the sales man, who was very helpful . I chose the more expensive and better known brand thinking it would be the better product. Over $300 wasted as I was so cold I just wanted to warm the house up and as we dont have a gas bayonet had to go for electric heaters. It does take the chill out of the air, but you literally have to sit on it to get warm, it is very quiet but without my new oodie I still cant get warm. Pros: This heater has enough power to heat a fairly large bedroom without a problem. It works quietly, and has enough settings for good flexibility, but not too many to make it a chore to work. It's quite sturdy, and stands firmly on the ground, with no danger of toppling. We've now bought a couple for various rooms in our house, and are very happy with it. Would recommend without hesitation.Cons: A tiny nitpick: the LED display is quite bright. We have the heater in our daughter's bedroom, and I taped a couple of pieces of masking tape over the display to dim it a little bit, otherwise it lights up the room.
The first one I purchased had a huge dent in the front panel which we realised when we got home, so I returned it the next day. Good Guys receipted the wrong item on my invoice back into stock so when I went to collect the replacement at the pick up point the paperwork was wrong and I got given the wrong product. Walked to the front of the store and awaited them correcting it all and when got the correct replacement home and it had a small dent in the front panel also. Too much hassle to return a third time. Did not receive a single apology from staff for the faulty product or for the messing around. The product itself blows more heat out the top straight to the ceiling. Appears to be easily damaged. Not the best design in my opinion.

This heater is meant to heat an area of up to 70 sq m but it struggles with the 50 sq m I am trying to heat. Forget about eco mode, it has to be cranked up all the time to keep the fan going and then it only takes the chill off the air (after some considerable time). As a consequence, my latest electricity bill was two and a half times the previous one. I have gone back to gas which gives instant heat and warms the space very quickly, allowing me to turn it back to a moderate setting
This product is advertised as being capable of heating a space up to 70 sq metres. I am using it in a space of only 50 sq metres (approx) and have to run it on maximum to make any difference to the temperature in the room. Even then it takes a long time to make any appreciable change and after running for hours raises the temperature by only 4 degrees or so, even though set at 22 degrees. It in no way performs as well as the gas fired unit it was meant to replace and I am yet to see whether it is more economical. The "panel" does not seem to serve any useful purpose.
