This is the best purchase we have ever made. Our daughters bedroom is upstairs and the heat from the lower levels never really had an impact on her bedroom. The panel heater in her room although turned on may as well have been non existent. We turn this heater on with the fan on low for 10 minutes and her bedroom is instantly cozy and warm. We turn the fan of and regulate the thermostat to the heat desired and her bedroom is cozy and warm when she wakes up. Nice and quiet, lovely and compact and exactly what we were looking for. Thanks once again Harvey Norman for the great product.

I bought this heater yesterday for our medium size open plan living, dining, kitchen area. It heated the area very quickly on the high setting with the fan (which is a bit noisy). I only needed the fan on for about 15 minutes until the room was warm, then turned the temp down to medium for the rest of the evening. It was lovely and cosy on a very cold winter evening. Worth noting is the panel at the back of the unit; this heater is made for wall mounting and the back is not nice looking like the front, as it has the wall mounting slots, screws and stickers showing. Also, not sure why they chose to angle the top vent facing the back of the unit, maybe the designer thought it looked more sleek from the front, but heating the wall doesn't make sense to me. Echoing the sentiments of others, this heater is fine for a small space but will definitely not work for a lounge unless left on constantly. Can be costly to run. Good for a smaller space like a bedroom or office. The timer is difficult to pin point as there are no marks on the heater itself to denote where the turn on/off point is.

We use this heater chiefly for heating our kitchen/dining area during chilly mornings or evenings. This is an open plan area and also open plan to adjoining lounge area. It is surprisingly effective and meets our needs in terms of heating, slim line design and easy to move around to other areas if required.
Excellent heater - fast reaction - when turned on starts heating immediately. Very quiet - just low fan noise if you turn fan on. Looks good, heats efficiently and quickly. Had multiple heat and fan settings, although Choice review incorrectly stated it has only one heat setting. Also has timer and safety tilt function.
Heats quickly. Outside of the heater doesnt get overly hot to the touch so good for small children. Looks stylish & is compact. We have a large open plan lounge/ dining & kitchen and one heater heats it up nicely. Bought another one for the other end of the house and between them they are more effective than our reverse cycle air.
Easy to assemble, use and ensure no over heating. Love the fact you dont need to have the fan going as it radiates the heat without getting too hot. I love this so much that I have bought two for the (at work) offices and one for the home! My colleague loves it so much that he also bought one for his home office!!
I have a 4m2 (small) room. It does not take up much space. With the max fan function it heats quickly and evenly. I mostly need to use it for short intervals. Or it stays on for a while to maintain the set temperature on several nights while working at my desk. My electricity bill has remained around its usual cost. No technical issues 3months post purchase.
It's VERY expensive to run. It tripled our energy bill for the quarter. If you only need to heat a small to medium room, then this may help. But do not depend upon it heating others rooms at the same time. It also doesn't radiate heat so much as it target's it straight up. You have to practically stand on top of it to feel that direct heat. Purchase with caution.
this is the second heater we've bought lately. First one had no fan, is using a lot of power, but... not cutting the mustard. This one has got a fan and even with two stages. It works, but it still is, even on the second stage of the (little) fan, just doing some work. Living room is under 30sqm, but can't get it up to 24degrC. We don't live in weather board shack, but in a well insulated Unit...near the coast in QLD.
